This flavor is my favorite and I have been ordering by the case until recently. Now I can't find it and according to the other reviews you have stopped making it! This is the best flavor you make. I drink it every morning. What do I do now?????please, please, please bring it back!!!!!!!
I have been drinking Carnation Breakfast Essentials for decades! I used to drink milk chocolate until dark chocolate was available. The dark chocolate is not as sweet and I have been hooked on it ever since! I am so upset that it has been discontinued! Please reconsider producing it again. From the reviews, it looks as if you'll make a lot of people happy!☺
I noticed the Classic Chocolate Malt and the Dark Chocolate flavors have been discontinued and no longer offered in the Carnation Breakfast Essentials variety pack. I also noticed that I am not the only person who is deeply disappointed in the loss of these chocolate flavors. May I suggest that you offer an all chocolate variety pack including: Rich Milk Chocolate, Classic Chocolate Malt, and Dark Chocolate. You will make a lot of people very happy. Thank you.
I have been drinking this every day for at least 2 decades, whenever it was that I first found it. I could only find it at Heinen's in our area, NO other stores carried it. When I saw the spot where they had kept the Dark Chocolate filled with Rich Milk Chocolate, and the tag on the shelf changed, I got a very bad feeling about it. This was the only one I would drink, this was my morning coffee, and made it simple and pleasurable to drink yummy chocolaty milk without adding super sweet taste. I guess this will force me to make up my own mix with cocao powder now.
When this flavor was discontinued years ago, my grandmother and I were heartbroken. Imagine my surprise when I came across it at the grocery store a few weeks ago! It tastes just the same now as it did then. Thank you for bringing cafe mocha back, please don't discontinue it ever again!
I have been enjoying the dark chocolate from the time it was available & after years of using your milk chocolate "Instant Breakfast" powder. My local grocery stopped carrying it recently & added the new mocha flavor. I was hoping that they were tight on available shelf space...but it appears from recent ratings/responses that you have discontinued this flavor! SO VERY disappointed! I think the reason sales were poor was the name. Many think dark chocolate can be bitter, and with 2 chocolate flavors available, buyers probably opted for the more tried & true one, which sounded more appealing "Rich Milk" Chocolate! Please bring it back...but with a better name!
I've been drinking this flavor every morning for the past 5+ years and loving it. I tried all the other flavors in a variety pack and didn't like any of them. Carnation Instant Breakfast also makes it easier for me to take my medicine than with water. Please reconsider and bring it back.
Carnation Breakfast Essentials is delicious but a bit pricey so I only buy it when it is on sale (rarely) or I have a coupon (seldom). A good alternative is Ovaltine. It is also very nutritious and the cost per ounce of Ovaltine is quite a bit less.
There's a plastic top with no attachment meaning anyone can open it without a person being aware. Then the simple plastic is easily puncturable without anyone knowing it. Growing up with the Tylenol scandal/poisonings this package makes me very nervous.
Found a rusted nut to a machine bolt inside the drink, nearly cracked my teeth. Very unsafe.
