This phone is perfect for talk and text

I only use cell phones for talk and text, since I have 4 computers. I have a cell phone basically for emergencies if my car breaks down, to enter access codes to sign in to online accounts, and to get an occasional call when I'm not home. This phone is perfect for that. The battery lasts almost a week on one charge because I do not have any data usage - just talk and text. The phone feels heavy and durable, and works perfectly. I love it.

GREAT SENIOR PHONE

If you are looking for a phone that is easy to use without the whistles and bells, then this is the phone for you. This is exactly what I was looking for, a phone that is easy to make calls on, yet you can take pictures and text messages with. Now I don't care about texting, but you can if you want to. Numbers are easy enough to see, which is great for people that need glasses, because I can see everything without my glasses on. The only draw back would be, if you do like texting, you don't have a separate keyboard, so it is harder to type out a message with it, but like I said, I don't do texting.

For my purposes--excellent

Getting a new phone always presents a learning curve. This one was no different. I have been wanting a flip phone even though it lacks some of the features in a smart phone. Messaging is slower and more difficult. But, I don't do a lot of messaging so it's not a big deal. I have to manually add my contacts, the transfer wizard doesn't work with a flip. Well, that gave me a chance to clean up all the contacts that were no longer important. I like the heft and fit of the phone in my hand. I like the safety of being able to close the cover and not have the phone making calls accidentally. It just works well for me. I was looking for a basic phone, this is my choice.

Good 4G Flip Phone

I have been a Tracfone customer for several years and needed to upgrade my 3G flip to a new phone. The features are more plentiful than I need, as my primary purpose is a telephone I can use while away from home. What I miss, are current number of minutes/expiration date shown on the phone. The old Tracfone kept track and displayed on opening the flip, but this one seems to rely on going through the website for my account. I buy the cards as needed and do not need, nor do I want, a monthly plan. For me, it's a telephone and a "smart" phone is beyond my needs! My minutes carry over when I buy an annual card; just wish the phone would keep my minutes/date on the display.

instructions skimpy

Purchased this about 3 weeks ago. Have been able to figure out most features but voicemail is ridiculous. Finally found *86 prompt and when I pressed 1 to hear messages in English, all I got was Spanish. After much fiddling around, got that changed. BUT my phone still shows 4 missed phone calls. There are no messages in my voicemail box and NO WAY to delete the message on my phone showing 4 missed calls. So I have to assume I don't have any new missed calls, I guess until the number goes up to 5 or more. Not thrilled with product but since you do not sell replacement batteries for my previous flip phone, I'm stuck with this.

I like the size of the phone and buttons and the camera features. However, I cannot figure out how to access my voice mail or my missed calls. I have 2 missed calls and 2 voice mails listed on my home page, but cannot find any instructions on how to access them. Also, there is no file list of calls made or received. another annoying feature is having to text HELP 611611 in order to see how many minutes & days are left instead of having the info displayed on the home page. This is really not a convenient phone to use. My old LG that I bought several years ago was much easier to use. I am very disappointed in this phone. This phone could really use some streamlining and a lot more detailed instructions.

Junk. Locked, non-operable.

Transferred from old phone online. Did not transfer minutes and service days until I contacted tracfone. They moved the data over and activated the phone to make calls. I found when trying to add contacts, it will not add more than one phone number per contact, even though there are selections for different types of numbers. I even tried adding one, making it primary and adding another type. They both show primary and one type of number. I am then unable to select which number to call. Also, the phone does not receive calls! I sent a text to it as a text and it took a half hour to come through. It shows a lock icon on the status bar which I am unable to clear, even by resetting the phone. Junk! Bought for my elderly husband who is unable to navigate a touch screen. He can call out, it does not have essential receive calls functionality.

Stupid recording

This phone has THE most stupid recordings on it. When you open it a recording comes on saying:"Screen On". or "Screen Off" or "Call Ended" and other stupid stuff when you're trying to hear the other person talk. And I can't figure out how to shut this feature off.
