The actual product is amazing! This is the first natural deodorant that has actually worked for me. I first heard about this deodorant on a video that talked about reducing single use plastic (they help you recycle your used glass jars!). However, ordering it online involved a large box, which holds a smaller box, which has the product in a box. 3 boxes and the filling in them seemed like a waste of cardboard and although I recycled it, I feel it can be done in a better manner. Overall, love the product, but I am going to look for it in stores from now on.
I've been using this product for about a year. I looove their rose smelling deoderant in the glass jar. It keeps me smelling great and the rose smell isn't too strong. You only need to use about a pea size everyday, so it lasts forever! I just got their lavender one and am just as happy with it as the rose.
The scent is not that strong and I think thats a good thing, its perfect overall. And oh when you sweat on your armpits, it smells like the sweat itself is rose&vanilla so yep no worries bout the odor
I purchased the jar because of past experiences with natural "stick" deodorants becoming rough, and even painful, to apply. This glides on so smoothly! The scent is fresh and light. Ecstatic that this is an option that works!!!
I love this deodorant and I actually repurchased it for that reason. I love that it comes in a glass jar which I can reuse now that I am finished with my first jar, however I am disappointed that they sent my new jar in a plastic package. What is the point of purchasing a glass jar deodorant to decrease my plastic waste when the package is going to come in plastic that I have to throw out immediately anyway? I only purchased it online because they do not sell the glass jars at the stores by me but I thought because they are a sustainable company that they would at least send the jar in cardboard packaging. Overall I love the deodorant, it smells great, it's easy to use, the jar it comes in is cute and reusable but I would definitely recommend finding a store that sells it instead of ordering online if you're aiming to reduce your plastic waste.
I have never been able to count on a deodorant as much as count on Rose and Vanilla deodorant - jar!!! Since I started using this amazing product,I can go the entire day without any bad armpit odors! The heavenly scent of fresh roses is proof of the superior ingredients in this deodorant. It's practically taken a lifetime to find a deodorant that functions perfectly, is a reasonable price, and has the added joy of aromatherapy in its scent! Thankyou Schmidt's !!!
I love the product, its smell very pleasant not pungent. The only thing I notice is I cannot wear it right after I shave. I have to give it a day otherwise I itch a lot.
I love everything about the deodorant and the Eco friendly “idea” but what stops me from the 5 star rating and re purchase is that every time it comes with a plastic stick :( hoping they change it too a biodegradable stick/ be able too opt out all together to reduce the plastic!
To start I'll share that I've also tried 2 other brands of jar deodorant. I'd also like to share that Schmidt's customer service was phenomenal. The deodorant works great at what's it's supposed to do. I really like the fragrance as well. The plastic lid and little plastic spatula that ships automatically in each box is disappointing and unacceptable. Other jars brands I've tried have metal lids. And one has a reusable bamboo spatula. The texture of the product is off, making it difficult to apply. It needs to be more creamy so it doesn't fall apart during application. Overall this was a disappointing product experience.
I've been using Schmitz jar deodorant now for several years and I love it. This is my first time using the rose for myself even though I did purchase it previously I gave it to friends to dry. I don't like the texture of this new rose it's almost creamy. It has the same great effects as it always has and the scent is lovely I just like the other text you're better but thank you for caring enough to ask. You have great products
