I received the Eco Tools Pure Complexion Sponge free for review in the Influenster Vow VoxBox. I was a bit skeptical intially, as the sponge is rock hard when it arrives, and doesn't look like something I'd be inclined to rub on my face. However, as soon as I ran the sponge under warm water, it softened up completely, and was a wonderful, gentle exfoliant. I have used it to was my face every night since I received it, and I would absolutely buy one in the future. Thank you so much to EcoTools and Influenster for giving me the opportunity to review such a lovely product!
I received this product for free through Influenster and I am in love. I have sensitive skin and I can not just use anything to wash my face with.This sponge is 100% natural, which gets an A+ in my book. All you have to do is add water to soften the sponge, add your facial cleanser and treat your face to a wonder experience. It felt like I was using a cloud to wash my face with (which is a good thing). After using the sponge to clean my face, I had NO redness or dry patches on my face. The sponge got rid of all the bad oil & dirt and kept they good oil to keep my face moisturized. I will definitely be investing in more ecotools products.
I received this sponge from Influenster for testing purpose a while ago. When I first got it I was skeptical because I had never used a facial sponge before. I opened it and it was as hard as a rock. I was worried that it would be very rough on my face, but as soon as I added water if softened right up! It was like washing my face with a soggy marshmallow, which feels a lot better than it sounds. It was very gentle and left my skin feeling soft, clean, and happy. What else could you want out of a facial sponge? I like how the egg shape fits nicely into my hand and that it is gentle enough to take makeup off my face. When I use it I just add a little dot of my favorite face wash and suds it up and have at it. I highly recommend this to everyone! Its my new must have in my daily routine.
I have been loving this product so much, it has changed the texture of my facial skin! I was skeptical at first because the sponge felt very tough. Once I placed the sponge in water and gave it a few seconds to absorb the moisture it becomes an amazing soft and exfoliating sponge! I love how convenient in size it is and how it leaves my face baby soft and did not break out or irritate my extremely sensitive skin. I am in love with this product and it is my new favorite facial tool!
When I first got this to review I thought I was going to hate it. I usually only use my hands because my face is too sensitive. Even with just my fingers my face would be bright red for about an hour after washing it because my fingers would still pull at my skin. I softened the sponge and a few minutes later I couldn't stop smiling. I love it. It feels just like soap foam! It's crazy gentle and the redness that I have had for 32 years is going away. I will buy this forever. Thank you so much for this.
I own the Clarisonic Mia so I didn't have high expectations for this product but boy was I blown away!!!! I was amazed at how lightweight this product is and how soft it gets once water is added. I loved how easily it soaks up your cleanser and how soft it is when it's placed on your skin. Once you're done cleansing, you simply wash it off and lay it flat to dry for the next time you use it. I cannot believe this product is only $6, AMAZING!!! I have already made the switch and took this with me on a trip instead of my Clarisonic! This Konjac sponge is gentle and effective. I use in my night time cleansing routine along with Havyn Spa sensitive skin cleanser. I have tried other Konjac sponges and found them to be too rough feeling. I stock up when they go on sale because I replace them every 6 weeks. They aren't worn but do not seem to be clean enough to use on my face. There may be a way to get the sponge cleaner to extend its life, but at the sales price, it is not worth the bother to me.
The texture of the sponge are fantastic. Sponge might make some people think of soft fleshy make up sponges but the texture of this is quite unique. Imagine an incredibly soft loofah. I really enjoyed how well it removed my makeup. I felt refreshed and excited. The brush could handle my stringent facial cleanser. I liked that it wasn't as foam-inducing as my Clairsonic knock-off. I'd probably try the deep cleansing one next time. The reason why I voted 4/5 was because of how this will only last a month or so. I can't exactly afford to keep purchasing them so I will nurse mine until it dies, but just be aware. I am reviewing this product after receiving it complimentary from Influenster.
Let me start by saying that I have incredibly sensitive, acne-prone and oily skin, so I need to use really gentle products that can effective cleanse my face without irritating me. I've tried some of those electronic cleansing tools but they are always too harsh for me and strip out too much of the oil such that my face winds up producing more to overcompensate -- no good! The EcoTools pure complexion facial sponge is so gentle. I was nervous because it's pretty hard and stiff when you first take it out of the package, but truly, it does soften totally when wet. I like the tapered edge because it gets into the creases of your nose really well. :) My skin always feels really soft, smooth and radiant after I use it. My only complaint is that the sponge doesn't fully dry before I use it again, even though I squeeze all the water out after use. Makes me feel like it really won't last for the 3 months that it says it will. But otherwise, for $6, this is a great product to try out! I did receive this product for free from Influenster to try, but would never let that color my opinion of a product!
I received this sponge complements of influenster in the VowVoxBox a few weeks ago. I like that it is made from vegetable fibers and that it is eco friendly. The sponge at first is hard, but when wet it's very soft. It is gentle on the skin and really helps lather your favorite facial cleanser to evenly disperse it all over your face. I like the shape of it, makes going around eyes and nose area a breeze. It is gentle on skin and rinses easily. I would recommend this product to anyone with delicate skin.
