This is a great classic movie for kids of any age. I read the book when I was young and was thrilled to watch the movie many years later. Although it is a sad story, it provides some realism for many children who only watch cartoons and comedies. My daughter attends a private school and she brought it to school to share with her classmates. They are enjoying it.

Fantastic and nostalgic! They don't make movies like this anymore or ever to my knowledge. Family fun and educational for the little kids. The DVD arrived in perfect condition in bubble wrapped packaging. Could not be more entertained or greatful!

I bought this as a gift for holidays. I have seen it and for the person who likes horse related movies it is a good deal, and has a pretty good story line from birth of Black stallion through hardships to end. I know it is another Black Beauty movie but a bit different than rest. I would highly recommend for anyone who likes horses gives a perspective into what can happen to a horse given hardships, and trials, as well as circumstance.

Bought this movie for my daughter to watch after she reads the book. I had seen it years ago and liked it although parts of it are sad. I am sure she will enjoy it, especially after reading the book.

The DVD received had the center portion of the case (the circle that holds the DVD in the case) was broken with floating scraps. This caused the DVD to be scratched and damaged beyond use.
