This fan is absolutely gorgeous! It fits my decorations so nicely. It has an elegant look about it. I really like the glass around the light bulbs. And the fan works great also. All together I'm really glad we got the fan. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This ceiling fan is beautiful, it has 3 lights that hang downward for a new and improved look, as many of the lights usally hang sideways on ceiling fan, this is very new to me. This product features 5 large blades. The finish on the base of ceiling fan is a nice sleek black finish with, logo name engraved on one side. The blades are a nice light gray and are thick and well made. This ceiling fan was very easy to install and locked on place nicely. A great feature is the remote it feels great to not have to be tugging on a string all day to start fan/light and it looks way better to with no pull strings hanging. You are able to hang remote high and store in safe place, which remote securely hold in. its also can start with hunterfan app which is pretty cool so if you ever misplace remote you can use app. This ceiling fan is very quiet and no rocking around it is held straight in place and cirrculates air fantastic, with two ways for fan to go you can not go wrong. Great fan, and works wonders. So quiet we've inadvertently left it on all day. There are several speed settings to meet whatever your cooling needs are, and the easy-to-reverse fan direction helps when you don't want air blowing down on you. One piece of info that the manual and instruction card don't give you, is that the lights need to have the dimming mode turned on if you want dimming. They don't come shipped that way. To turn the dimming mode on, you need to turn the lights on, and then hold down the up and down arrows on the controller for four seconds. That turns on dimming mode. You're then set up to dim and brighten away. We replaced our other ceiling fan with this one and love it.
My home had a dead fan for about 5 years. With the opportunity to upgrade, I chose this model due to its rustic canning jar style light fixtures and attractive blades. I am so glad I did, as it compliments the overall ambiance of the room without stealing the show. Installation was not complicated, but I do have experience with this sort of thing. Its fan is quiet and powerful, providing excellent air circulation during the humid summer months. I am certain that it will be as helpful with bringing warm air down in the wintertime. I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend it to anyone considering an upgrade to their living space. This is a top quality addition to my home. When I first saw this Devon Park ceiling fan, I fell in love with the style. It looks so good and gives the living room a whole different atmosphere. It makes it look great and it feels great when the fan is on. Even the lighting is beautiful. The blades are reversible, however I love the lighter shade showing. Its my favorite. It comes with a remote as well, so easy to use. My husband installed it, all he did was replace the one we already had on and just with the change of the ceiling fans alone made my living room look like I had done more than that. It beautiful and I absolutely love it. I just want to point out that I did receive the Devon Park ceiling fan in exchange for my honest opinion. That being said, my opinions are 100% real and honest. I gave it 5 stars because that is exactly what it deserves. It is beautiful, works amazing. The fan isn't loud like most and the lighting is beautiful with the Edison style light bulbs. As for installing, my husband said it was simple for him. He is used to doing a lot of DIY, as am I but being pregnant he didn't want me lifting or up on a ladder. I did not like that you had to put the spacers in the blades your self usually fans already have them inserted. Fan is broken dim feature does not work at all. Beautiful rustic look....had one in a previous home so I order This one for our new home. Difficult to assemble for our electrician. Missing screws and battery for the controller.
The fan itself is great. The only issue is the audible sounds made any time the lights are turned on or off, and any time the fan speed is adjusted. It is incredibly annoying, particularly when shutting off the light. I can't turn the light on if I am trying to get my son to sleep, since I know the sound will wake him up again when I turn it off. Terrible feature.
