My bird loves these treats. He asks for them by tweeting, if he hears the package rattle, hes off his perch on his way down to meet me at his cage door as he talks to me about how excited he is. then he ask me to hold some reading material up for him as he makes souds like hes reading and looking at the paper's words like he understands them.

my budgie love this millet,he has never had millet before and I wanted to try it to see if he would like it. But listen to this, I'm on Facebook group it's called whisper budgie and I asked a question how do I get my budgie to eat Millet for the first time and they said just hang it in his cage in his food well that's what I did when I first got it he did not touch it so when I came back from the end of the day of working I looked and I was like boy you did not even touch it and I thought well it's new he's never had it so I took him out and took out the millet and we went on the table and I was like maybe you're not used to seeing that cuz I don't think he's ever seen millet so why I got a little piece off and piece it up a little pieces in the palm of my hand and it look like his food cuz I've done this before and I gave it to him he went on my finger and he started eating it but he was like this taste kind of funny but it taste good and he loved it I was like I tried to give it to him on the stick he just licked it he did not eat it the next day I on the end of the day I was video chatting with my mom and I said hey Mama let's see if Skye will eat his millet on the stick this time and she's like what's Millet and I said it's a treat he's been really good today I said let's try cuz yesterday he did not eat it on the stick I had to piece it up a little tiny pieces for him to try it let's see so we tried it and he ate it for the first time off the stick had it in my hand I said here oh my gosh I could not believe it so if you have a budget your parakeet try what I did if they never had Millet before it might work and now he loves it he ate it until he got all full but now I know they're only supposed to have a teaspoon of it once a day I'm a first time Mama budgie!
My birds love this millet. It has thick chunks and a nice aroma. I've gotten another brand in which the stalks aren't as thick and it smells like dried straw.
my lovebird loves this brand of millet. She gets so excited when she see's me pick up the bag. She'll hang upside down on my sleeve until I get a sprig out and give it to her.
my parakeets love it but it's a little dry not as fresh as perhaps it should be but then who knows how long it's been in the back I think the packaging may not be good as soon as I took it out a package it just fell apart should have been moisture
Why did the price go up on these to now cost almost 4x more ? Good thing I bought mine a few days ago. However, I'm not so sure these millets are going to be fresh or even safe for my Cockatiel, because they arrived with a hole punched in the package and there were millet seeds all IN the box.
Arrived smashed into very small pieces, not suitable for gifting as it is just mostly small chunks of seeds.
