I have two cats and one is long haired and so I have gone through many a vacum trying to find one that will pick up cat hair and not have me sitting to cut the hair from the belts. I have a 400 square foot apartment so i didn't want another big vacum to try and store. This has worked great at getting up all the cat hair, and litter, and does a great job on both my carpet and tiled floors. I would recomend this for any one who is tired of cutting pet hair from thier vaccum cleaner or has a small apartment that doesn't have the room for a large vaccum.
The best value for your money! I have been thru alot of vacuums and this one not only cleans carpets well, but bare floors are perfect! I have 3 cats and bought this for cleaning up litter- does a fantastic job! No need to pay more for an expensive machine when this one does the best job! Highly recomended!!!
I love this little vacuum. I bought it to replace my broom and dustpan, and boy does it deliver. I thought that I would use it then mop my kitchen, but my floors felt so clean after using it I decided that it didn't need mopping after all. It has great pickup and I put it together without even looking at the directions. Mine came without a crevice tool, so I called Bissel and they're sending me one free! The filter is washable, but over time if your vacuum loses suction, you can call Bissel and order a replacement filter. For small spaces, like my tiny bathroom, I take off the floor nozzel and use the handvac part which works great! And since you can leave the extension handle on, you can use even the handvac part without stooping over. I'm 9 months pregnant and this has made keeping my tile floors tidy so much easier for me. It's also super light! I just love it.
This little vacuum cleaner is just a wonder! I'm surprised HOW MUCH it actually picks up with the cup it holds! I live in a small one-bedroom apartment and its just the PERFECT THING to use in such a small place. The carpet in the apartment is such that I can use this vacuum very handily and still get it clean!
I got this vacuum for my all tiled home. I have a small area rug that kept collecting animal hair (2 dogs, 2 cats) and wanted something that would work on tile as well as my area rug. This product is awesome! It's so liteweight and easy to use, my 5 yr. old can do the whole house himself. Even my 2 yr. old likes to use it. It's a great vacuum for the price.
Bought this to sweep up hard wood floors--especially in the dining room after the kids are finished eating... Doesn't do very good on our carpet but picks up stuff on our scatter rugs just fine. The only thing I could wish upon this vac is a longer cord--it will reach around a good sized room but would like more. Other than that, it is a great tool to have around the house for $20!
This product is WONDERFUL!!! I'm 7.5 months pregnant and sweeping was becoming a motion I just couldn't really do anymore. This vacuum was the perfect solution--lightweight and so easy to use. I vacuum all the time. My only complaint is the cord is too short, but I just put an extension cord on the end (as recommended by other reviewers) and now I don't have problems. This vacuum picks up almost anything. It is not made for carpets so don't expect excellent results from that (hence it is in the "hard floor care" category). It is great with pet hair (we have two black dogs and a cat) and cat litter. We have wood, tile and vinyl floors and it works well on all of them. Even my husband (Mr. Negativity) was impressed. Excellent buy for the price--you just can't beat it!! As for those who complained about flimsy design--it's obvious that the handle is slim just from looking at the box, but you'd have to be putting WAY too much pressure on it to break it! It's so lightweight you don't need that kind of pressure!!
the vacuum is great for 20 bucks, however the filter fills up really really quick. i really dont like how you have to clean it either, i cant just shake it out, you have to grab the stuff from the filter that has collapsed into itself and dust goes everywhere when doing so. also, everytime i dump the canister, and clip it back in the entire vacuum is full of dust on the outside, requiring a wipe down. its pretty nasty. i wouldnt have bought this had i known that it would be more work than its worth. a good buy for apartments, but if you really want to clean the floors, get a real vacuum.
This product is GREAT for bare floors. It works very very well on linoleum. Other than that I would only suggest it for low-pile office type flooring, not for regular carpet. It has a squeegee-type brush that will catch dirt and small debris to be vacuumed which works great for linoleum. It is a cheaply priced stick-vac, so I wouldn't recommend having extremely high expectations for it, but for laundry rooms, kitchens, and restrooms it's ideal
I would only refer a friend to this product if they were in a tiny apartment or needed a good car vaccum. I also have not found any supply of the filters. They need to be made more available. Cleaning that one filter over and over after just a few minutes of use becomes a bother. I have used the vaccum to clean my vehicle and found that it works a great deal better than vaccuming carpet.
