This pan is cute, small and durable for someone that's making small cakes. My young daughter made a cake with me and she loved it because it was just enough cake for her and she didn't have to share. This cake pan is not to feed a family, its for one person maybe two. The cake came out perfect and I know that she will be in the kitchen baking cakes on a regular basis going forward. I definitely recommend this if you just want something sweet but not too much.
I was offered a chance to review this fluted cake pan. I have owned an instant pot for two years and I've never baked a cake. So when it arrived I had already decided to try my luck at baking a cake in the instant pot. This is a smaller version of a Bundt pan to fit inside the instant pot. I baked a cinnamon streusel from a mix. The mix directions read to bake for 40 minutes in conventional oven. I baked mine for 30 minutes. I used the cake mode. It turned out so well. The cake came out perfectly. I did spray the pan before filling it with batter. It was easy to clean. The pan can be used in an oven too, up to 450 degrees. It's made well with a lifetime limited warranty. It is also compatible with both the 6 and 8 quart instant pot. The width is 7.52, length is 8.15 and the height is 3.27. I highly recommend if you love to bake like I do. You won't be disappointed. I have taken photos of before baking and afterwards.
This fit great in my insta pot but it also works without having an insta pot if you don't have one you can put in a conventional oven too! Great for making pineapple upside down cakes . Doesn't stick either and very easy to clean !
The number one reason I love this is because I do not have to use my oven. I have a gas stove. I was not thinking about the size when I picked this so when I opened the box I was like "this is small" but then I had to realize "duh it has to fit inside of the instant pot". So I laughed at myself. It was just like making a regular cake. I made a homemade chocolate devil food's cake and I used cooking spray to be safe. Placed it inside of my instant pot and set it for 45 mins and let it do it's thing. My cake was ready. I used two forks to lift it out bc I was scared to touch the hot pan (of course). The cake was moist and soft and I cannot forget delicious. I love the size because it's only me and my fiancé that loves chocolate so I do not have to worry about anything getting trashed. It's a great bunt cake pan.
I am a big fan of my Instant Pot and am always looking for ways to get more use from it. This IP sized cake pan nicely fit the bill. This pan has a non-stick surface and after adding water to the pressure cooked it sat nicely on the IP trivet. I made a 6-inch cake from a recipe I found on the web. The pan is non-stick, and I had no problems removing the cake. The cake was very moist and is especially well-suited for cakes such as lava cakes which are more of a pudding inside. I recommend it for those types of cakes. I was gifted this product so that I could give an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and not influenced in any way.
It took me a little while to use this, but I finally did. I tried this out first by making a Upside-down Pineapple cake. It came out so good! I used it in a regular oven and didn't have any problems. I really like it.
The Instant Pot 7 Inch non-stick Fluted Pan is easy to use but be careful how much batter you use. I have an 8 quart Instant Pot and this pan made a perfect amount of cake for 5 of us. Extra bonus was how easy it is to clean up.
This Fluted Cake Pan, like all the other Instant Pot accessories I own, is very small. I have the 6-quart Instant Pot Duo, but I think it will also work in the 8-quart Instant Pot. I have similarly-shaped Bundt pans, and they all hold 12 cups, so the full-size Bundt cakes you're used to seeing require up to 12 cups of batter. This little pan holds 6 cups of batter, so the cake you get will serve half the people that a standard size pan will. I can see how this might be handy if you are cooking for 2-4 people, or if you'd rather not have the temptation hanging around the house for so long. The Instant Pot folks say you can cook more than just dessert in it, including savory dishes like lasagna and Mac and Cheese, almost any kind of casserole, and even meatloaf. I haven't tried anything other than cakes so far, and the make or break issue for me is whether the cake is going to stick when you try to remove it from the pan. The pan is non-stick, of course, and I've baked a cinnamon streusel coffee cake, plus my favorite pound cake recipe, and both cakes slid right out, just like they do in the regular-sized pan. I think the secret is prepping the pan well (flour and shortening), and elevating the pan on something like a glass soda bottle while letting it cool. It might make no difference to you, but the manufacturer says the pan can also be used in a conventional oven, and I call that a plus. The only negative thing I have to say about this product really isn't fair. It's just so small. It's small, because it's made to fit and Instant Pot, so what did I expect? I don't think I'll use it to make cakes much, but I might try making some sides in it.
Instant pot exactly what it is it's perfect for a lava cake when I seen the little pan I was like all y'all I have to go by me some fudge chocolate cake mix so I did that and I make the perfect lava cake non stickable I did not have to put no oil or anything at the bottom of the pan before I put my cake mix then so yes instant pot cake pan I give it a thousand it's perfect
Ok, this is a nice looking pan that heats up quickly. It is also non stick as it claims. But, when we used it, we realized it doesn't have a very good handle. We actually dropped it trying to hold on to the lip as we are used to doing. A person would have to grab it around the base with like bakers gloves in order to get a firm grip. Otherwise it is a nice item that bakes well. We made a raison cake in it.
