High-grade aluminum alloys are melted and forced into a mold, ensuring the absence of air bubbles and resulting in a thick base, thin sides, no interior rivets, lightweight construction, and a perfectly flat bottom that never warps. The aluminum base delivers excellent heat distribution and is perfect for gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops. The cookwares interior and exterior nonstick surfaces ensure easy cleanup and the coating is guaranteed to never chip, crack, peel, blister, or come off. The nonstick surface allows the user to cook by adding little or no fat. Berndes does nonstick right--in 1975, DuPont and Berndes were the first companies to launch nonstick cookware in Europe. Users are not recommended to use metal utensils with Tradition cookware. The cookwares rustic wooden handles are cool to the touch on the stovetop. In addition, the cookware may be used in the oven when wrapped with foil. Tradition cookware should not be washed in the dishwasher, as the handles may dry out from the heat.
