The desitin brand of daily defense cream for babies diaper rash is decent. It makes a good barrier for the diaper and skin but not so good at repairing damaged skin.

I have used this diaper rash cream with all four of my kids, and it worked every single time. It is just the perfect paste to help heal and also prevent diaper rash. A little goes a long way and the tubes last a long time. You do need to clean your hands after using it, but that is to be expected.
