Not too bad to put together- I did it at 9 months pregnant. The screws at the back was the only thing I had a little trouble with- I couldn't screw them in all the way. If you don't put the screws in then the top will fall apart :-) The only item missing was the toy ignition key, but we had extra old keys at the house our son seemed to like even more. Over all this item is exactly what we were looking for.
This is the best purchase i have made in childrens toys in a long time. The kids continually play with this cozy coupe more than any toy of any kind i've ever purchased. I plan on purchasing another one so they don't have to fight over who gets it first. Thank you little tykes! Definately keeps them happy and occupied.Even the 6.5 yr old one wants to get in and go for a ride. Maybe they need to make another even bigger one for them.
My daughter had one of these and now my 1-1/2 yr. old grandson does too. He loves it just as much as she did and so does my 3yr. old granddaughter and very small 8 yr. old grandson! It's very surdy as well. The only thing I would suggest is to have the factory start assembling them...my hubby is very handy and very mechanically inclined but still used some colorful language putting this together!;)
the cozy coupe is awesome, both the 2 year old and the 4 year old love it. i was disappointed in the fact that when i called little tikes to compare the cozy coupe II and the 30th edition, they told me everything was the same except the 30th ed has eyes and is a bit smaller. not true. the 30th ed has the removable bottom and the handle to push in back. otherwise im very happy with the purchase.
This product is excellent for the little ones my two year old and four year s old grandsons loved it. I would recommend this product to anyone with young children.
Great product. I bought one 6 years ago for my older son. We gave it to a friend because he loved it and it was in great condition after years of use. I bought another for my younger son's first birthday. He loves it just as much. It was pretty easy to put together. I did have a little trouble getting one piece to click in, but it just needed a little force. My husband was able to push it in place.
We got this for my sons 2nd birthday and he loves it. It seems very sturdy and it only took my husband about 35 min to put it together. He did have to screw pretty hard to get the roof on, but he didn't need to drill or anything. I just wish the seat was a little bigger so two small ones could fit in like the old ones. Overall great toy for summer days.
The Cozy Coupe is undeniably cute and your child will love it as mine does! Kid powered makes it easy for your child to go at his own speed and the coupe is very easy to maneuver. The reason we were not able to give this product 5 stars is that this item was a nightmare to assemble. The instructions are easy to follow and it is possible for one person to assemble, however, we recommend that you give yourself plenty of time and space to put this toy together. It was a frustrating procedure for us. Also, I thought that $49 may be a bit pricey for this item.
My 14 month old son loves this car. He also loved climbing in and out of the body while I was putting it together for him. This didn't help ease my frustration level any during that time. The wheels were a pain to put together and the roof and the windshield posts aren't completely flush when fully assembled. (The mold for the plastic connecting parts must be slightly off.) My husband tried to get it to fit together better, but he didn't have any better luck. Regarding the very last instruction step...We never could get one of the screws completely through all the plastic. I highly suggest making slight drill holes in the yellow plastic before trying to screw through the red base into the yellow roof part. Our drill was too big to fit into the area and it was hand-cramping going otherwise. But in the end, it is a sturdy little car and I know my son and future kids will have a great time in it.
This is tike car 3 that was bought in my house. The first and second were sturdy and solid. the last one however is not It has gaps in the seems in the roof and its not going to last like the others. Im not gonna get another thats for sure If I was you buy something else of better quality
