My printer had a 8yr old printer cable on it and I would have to hit the printer and it would print 2 lines, hit again, 2 lines, etc. etc. I bought this. This is a true blue Gold Hi Quality and works beautifully. You will not make a mistake buying this. High Quality. Cant Rave enough. Sorry about my hand in the photo.
I purchased a printer instore and didn't realize I would need a USB cable. I went online and the website told me what cable I would need for the printer I purchased. The price was right and it arrived in a timely manner without me leaving the house... When it arrived I connected it to my printer and it is no longer idol.. very happy with this purchase.
When my windows 7 computer died, (8/14), I got a windows 8.1, and realized that I now had to sync it with my old 2007 Lexmark printer. The usb cord I originally had on my printer was transferring info too slowly for my win. 8.1, and wouldn't register at all the 'print' command, (it was a 1.5 usb cable, the standard back then). I bought this cable, 2.0, and prayed it would work with my old printer, and it did. It works better than my old cable on my win. 7! When I would click 'print' on my old computer with the 1.5 cable, I would have to wait a minute or two before the printer got the message and printed. With this 2.0 cable, as soon as I clicked 'print', it printed! Very happy about that! Awesome transfer rate! Would recommend this cable for sure!
We needed a cable to connect an older laptop to the printer. I researched this item and the cost was $24.99 at Best Buys, $19.99 at Staples (on sale). The price at Walmart was so low. I wondered if it could be the same cable. Well, it is, it works perfectly and even with the cost of shipping, it was 1/4 of the cost. YAY!
I was surprised to find that my local Walmart store has a huge section of HDMI cables but no USB. Still, even with the shipping charge, this was a more-than-fair price for a name-brand cable. It's what I wanted and seems to do what it's supposed to do. What more can you ask?
This product is really good to get in just a cheap price. Rather than paying more money in such things i would say it is better worth to buy this. I went to store before to buy printer cable and it was $19 to $35 that was too high whereas I found this product online which cost me $3.49 with shipping cost and it works better and recommend everyone.
I forget the exact price on-line but it was under $5. I was having trouble connecting a new HP printer to my computer with a no-name USB A to B cable. I ordered this cable on-line. I became impatient and drove to my nearest Walmart and bought the identical Belkin 6FT Gold cable. The in-store price was $15 more than 3X the on-line price. So now I have an extra Belkin cable.
I wasn't sure what type of cable to get for my printer, as I had never owned a printer before, but this one was cheap and kept showing up in the suggestions so I figured I would give it a try. It arrived super quickly and in nice hard plastic packaging, so I didn't have to worry about it being damaged. It connects very easily into my printer. No complaints. It is fantastic for the price.
For the price it can't be beat! I needed this part to hook up a simple printer for my mom. The printer didn't come w/ this. So glad I ordered online, very $$$ at the store! Don't bother purchasing from the store for this item, you'll save money this way.
the reason i got this was it was cheaper on line at walmart.com then at there store.. go figure.. LOL.. and i had to return the one i got at the store at there store for the cheaper on on line and it was the same thing.. big difference in price that is for sure. .. pays to shop .. around..
