This headset is strange at first but once you get it adjusted it works great. The ear piece that actually fits in the ear looks uncomfortable; but it is unnoticable once on. I usually game online 3 to 4 hours a day and it has always been comfortable. I have purchased 4 different types of headsets trying to find a comfortable one, and this is it.
Awesome head set works great I would recommend it.
I had one of these sets for my 360 and i loved it, roomates dog ended up chewing it up and i couldnt find another to replace locally so i just went with other cheaper ones, really wish i hadnt because i really miss this one. Great product!
This headset is very good and durable, I've had mine for a little over a year now with no problems at all. It can go on either side of your head too, the only thing I had a problem with was getting used to how it fit in my ear, but once you do get used to that its all downhill from there.
I purchased this headset not only my gaming but also because I suffer from migraines. Since my line of work requires I wear a headset I was able to easily connect with the 2.5mm Jack to my office phone, as well as use it for personal use when im gaming since it connects to my xbox 360 controller. Once you get used to it, its comfortable. The ear bud rotates so you can use it for either ear and the quality of sound is great! I can hear very well and most times have to turn the volume down because of the crisp quality. My only complaint is I wish the cord was a little longer but it was accurately described in the reviews so I knew what I was getting. Overall GREAT product and I LOVE that its plantronics, a trusted and well known brand. Great product for the price!!
I bought this headset as a backup to my wireless headset. It works as advertised but I don't think that the sound is as good as the Xbox headset. Overall if someone is looking for a replacement this headset works.
I ordered it for my 13yo and he has had no complaints
The X30 is a light headset and is comfortable on the ear. Sound is clear and microphone picks up voice adequately. Personally, the boom could be slightly longer (5 mm) and the mute and volume could be at the controller. I have recommended to all my gaming friends.
About 3 weeks ago, I bought this mic. I saw that it was pretty cheap, and I liked how it didn't go over your head, it was just an earpiece. Upon using it, however, I saw that it wasn't such a good product. The earpiece is uncomfortable, and it kept sliding down your face because the ring that fits your ear way to big for a normal sized ear. So you start a sentence, but no one can hear you finish it because it slides down 4 seconds later. About a week after I got it, it completely broke. I could hear out of it, but couldn't talk. Let's see how the warranty is hmm? This mic looks cool, but is an overall bad product. Pay some more money and get something better.
