ADCO Universal ATV Cover Large

Perfection!

Wow! I really took a gamble on buying this cover due to there being no reviews for it on Walmart.com or any other website. We have bought a lot of atv covers over the years and they've always been that cheapie, thin, polyester-type material. Those thin ones would always blow off in the wind and would rip to shreds. They never covered the wheels of the atv all the way because the bottoms were just a stretchy elastic. We were replacing our atv covers 1-2 times a year for just a bit less than this atv cover is. My husband was slacking this year, so when the atv cover ripped, he simply covered it with a tarp. While the tarp was thicker than our old covers, it obviously didn't stay on any better and also ripped to shreds. I literally had piles of wood sitting on the tarp trying to hold the tarp on. So, I got sick of my husband's laziness and lack of research into what a good atv cover should be composed of and started looking on my own. I found a website on 4 wheeling that was not sponsored by any brand and saw that a cover should have tie down straps for transport, vents, straps to keep the cover from flying off, and a nice thick material. I looked at much more expensive brands, quite prepared to spend a hefty price for a cover that would last and have all of the components one is supposed to, but much to my surprise, the super expensive ones didn't have the vents, or straps, or good material. I looked at the big name sporting good stores and theirs were all junk or had bad reviews. I just so happened to stumble across this cover on Walmart's website. I only buy if an item is sold and shipped by Walmart and was surprised that this was. I did further research and found that ADCO had a reputable name in the rv cover forums and at the incredibly low price Walmart was selling for—I took the risk and ordered. I have never had a cover with the separate area for the handlebars, all my old covers were just one big blob of thin material. My 4 wheeler is a Kawasaki Bayou which isn't pretty small so my husband was worried this cover may be geared more towards those big automatic ATVs. But nope, it fits beautifully! The material is very thick with vents in the appropriate places and zippers in areas that will aid in quick access to certain parts of the atv. It came with straps for trailering and also straps that keep the cover on even though I could not imagine this heavy cover blowing off even without straps. I really wouldn't recommend trailering your atv with this or any cover on though because that's asking a lot out of a cover to handle and i don't understand why you would need to trailer it with a cover?? Just seems like you would be putting the cover at risk of rips or wear when you're bringing it to go ride or go camping. I live in Idaho where we get lots of snow, rain, wind, and sunshine. Every day when I'm out back, I check on the cover and it hasn't budged an inch. I've went out on incredibly windy days and the thing doesn't even move. It's been snowed and rained on and both the snow and rain just beads off. The cover could definitely fit a bigger atv too because it has some room to spare. It is not like it fits super tight so I think you'd be ok if you had a slightly bigger atv than us. Even though the cover has extra room on our atv, it doesn't look sloppy or too big, it still looks just right and really nice. In fact, I wouldn't want it any other size than what it is. The snow and rain can pool in some of the folds of the cover (which is normal), but the snow and rain DOES NOT soak thru. The cover completely covers my tires finally too. It looks classy and expensive and I've shared pictures of it with my 4 wheeling friends. If anything happens to our RV's cover, we are definitely going to buy ADCO next. My husband was so impressed by this cover that he even tried to find ADCO covers for his dirt bikes (too bad they don't make them). At this price, I was thinking about buying a back up just to be safe in case anything ever happened to this one, but I really don't think this one will ever be ruined. That means a lot! In the world today, consumers are constantly sold items that companies design to break on us or wear out fast so it's refreshing to find this quality cover. I would trust ADCO again and I hope they don't sell out and start making poor quality products like the majority of companies out there. If you're looking for an atv cover, this is the one! And as long as it's sold and shipped by Walmart, you don't have to take the risk of some weird seller who won't let you return it if ever needed. This cover rocks!
