Although it's rated for a vehicle larger than I needed, Walmart's price was the same as the local car parts store for the smaller model, so I got these from Walmart. Very sturdy, didn't move when I was putting the car on them, worked as I would expect!
These plastic resin ramps are very strong but only have a six inch lift. No damage going up with most low front bumpers, but look careful before purchase. Eight inch lift is really needed for oil changes. Buy four 2"x6"x 10' wood boards and lay down on the garage floor. Place ramps on top, driving up on boards first. Some trial and error is needed for first run up. Mark the concrete floor with a black marking pen will aid future use. This is for use with mechanics creeper.
I was pleasently surprised to find that these fit under the bumper and air dam of my 98 Trans Am with about 3/4" to spare. I was expecting to have to add some boards in front of the ramps to lift the car before the ramps. I first used these on a shell driveway (not concrete or asphalt) and noticed that they slid a short distance when driving up on them. This caught the lower front center edge of each support where it is weakest and slightly buckled them back (about 1/2"). On uneven (or any) surfaces, I recommend placing something to stop them from sliding. On the second attempt, I used a 5' length of 2 x 4 pine in front of them with two long screwdrivers stuck in the ground to stop them. It worked.
Good luck if you have a rear wheel drive. You will NOT be able to get your car on top of this without addding things to it. It will SKID every single time. Not sure about FRW or AWD/4WD vehicles, they should work fine. My review goes out of frustration to a product that only works with certain cars. These ramps are NOT worth the money. Don't waste your money here. I have tried several attempts to get my mustang on top of this. Different speeds, steadily, etc, etc... The plastic used to build these, especially on the back of it, is CHEAP and therefore once the car begins to climb upon it, the back part lifts and it skids forward. I have tried on different surfaces, such as gravel, cement, asphalt. All of them failed miserably. Eventually I got it to work by placing two 2x6 one end against my garage wall, the other end against the cheap back of these ramps, which almost gave up and went through it. Luckily enough it just bent, possibly taken the fact I had used 2x6. 2x4 would have gone right through it, no doubts there. So if you expect to get a product to make your life easier this is NOT for you. You will have to find something else to make this work.
