This protector has been a great help to my son. I also purchased the pillow and the pillow protectors and he wakes up much less congested than he used to. I was able to put this on by myself. It is a tight fit, but I liked that it totally encases the mattress.
I have been using the same cover for over 5 years and finally wanted to get a new one. It completely covered my futon and kept it safe against all drinks, pets and people. I even used it camping, and my futon still looks like new. I'm so sad that it is out of stock. Please bring it back!!!
Mattress cover was very easy to put on as long as one is careful not to pull and tug too much. Has ample room to fit mattress easily. Seems very durable with proper care. The value is good compared to what one would pay for the same type of product when ordering by mail through a company specializing in allergy control products. Those are typically well over $200.
Good Product. You filled a need.Also no one else carried this product at an affordable price that you did.
This protective covering has done the job for us for the past 2 years. I like that it totally encases the mattress and zips closed. we have a double pillow-top and it still fits. HOWEVER, from rolling and moving around in our sleep, the cover has totally deteriorated even after flipping the mattress a few times. the material sort of wears away and becomes a thin layer of fuzz from frequent use. Other covers are more expensive and more of an investment but may save you money in the long-run.
The matress protector from Walmart is less expensive than a similar one if bought from furniture stores. It is also not hard to fit on the matresses. However, it has no elasticity therefore a poor fitting to a given matress (I bought one king and one queen sized). I returned one of them as I simply could not stand the sound of plastic when resting on it (tried both sides of the protector). I ended up buying a memory foam top over the protector to isolate the sound. Buy this product if you have someone at home who may need wetproof surface.
Needed a waterproof mattress cover for my Cal King bed because my dogs won't stay off. This product seemed perfect. One big problem, the material is so thin that it ripped while putting it on the mattress! The product is waterproof, but it is so cheaply made, it ripped like a thin piece of paper just trying to pull it over the mattress. Don't waste your money!!!
This flimsy, paper thin protector looked more like a paper table cloth than a mattress protector. It was not easy to put on. I had to wrestle the entire mattress not only off the bed frame but standing straight up. After much ado, I got the "protector" on to the mattress, only to find that the zipper had broken and the protector had ripped beyond repair. Spend the money on the more expensive, more durable products.
we bought this a while ago and it went on the bed just fine and all, after we moved it had torn in a few places and the dog made a mess on our bed and it saved our mattress and all but when we washed it, it basically blew our washer apart because it didn't get rid of the water that was inside of it while it was spinning so it held in the water and the washer could not take it and it went off balance and spun out of wack and blew the front cover off and blew the instrument panel off, it also said machine wash cold and everything so we figured why not. I would not recommend this product to anyone that plans on washing it in the washing machine.
This is NOT what I wanted and looked for. I was looking for a product made by Pillowtex that was a quilted looking mattresspad that that had sides the same as the top and fit like a bottom/fitted sheet AND was hypo alergenic . The photo was Not of a good enough size and clearity to determine and after placing a phone call I was led to believe this was what I was looking for . It was not but if you wanted a pad that completely covers a mattress , is plastic/water proof then this might be for you./
