I actually bought (2) of these nightstands and am using them as end tables in my family room. They match my TV stand. They are beautiful and I get so many compliments from everyone that enters my home. I also found these exact same tables on 2 other websites for almost double the cost. I highly recommend these tables.
I have nothing but good things to say about this nightstand. I purchased the pair on sale and couldn't be happier. Directions could have been rearranged somewhat and screws should have been labeled along with most of the pieces. The hardest part was trying to figure out what piece they were talking about. Took me about 4 hours to do both pieces all by myself. I can't wait until I get the dresser to match.
This is a beautiful nightstand. The color is rich and the style looks high end. The drawer is huge and the shelf space underneath is deep. Love the finishing touch of the modern drawer pull. The only negative about this product is the assembly. It is pure misery putting this nightstand together. Once you get through the "assembly misery" the end result is SO worth it!
We purchased 2 night tables after buying the matching headboard. Beautiful set, tables are a surprise in how large and useful the table surface is. The drawer is big enough to be used as an accessory storage (scarves, wallets,jewellery etc). The finish was not as we expected on any of the pieces...it has streaks in the paint to give an antique effect, but not unattractive.
Sauder makes wonderful products that are a great value for the price. The whole set is just beautiful and was very easy to put together. It was packaged extremely well and nothing had even one mark on it. Its sturdy, and I just cant say enough good things about it.
Absolutely LOVE this nightstand! Very substantial. Amazing quality at an amazing price point. However, be prepared to work for it. The assemble is not easy for the novice. The directions are very clear and all the holes and connections match up perfectly, but there are some steps that are tricky. The backing is the only piece that is not of the same high quality. I left it off for a more open shelf look -- like it much better--lightens the piece.
These nightstand are so much nicer than I expected. The finish is absolutely stunning, the quality and durability seem like this will hold up for a very long time. The assembly is definitely time consuming, but it is not difficult by any means. I highly recommend this furniture to anyone!
I spent 2 concentrated hours setting this up by myself. It would have been quicker/easier with someone else, but it is not necessary. The nightstand turned out absolutely perfect. Instructions were clear and simple to follow. Color is as expected.
I just assembled one of the two nightstands I purchased last night. The directions are a little vague - it's mainly pictures with just a sentence or two. Some steps took me a few minutes to figure out. I think it ended up taking me close to three hours to put it all together. It might've gone quicker if I had my husband's help but he was busy watching football...grrr. Since it was just assembled yesterday, we haven't really had a chance to use it yet (it'll be in our guest room) but it seems pretty sturdy. It's an off-white color with a few light brown "scuff marks" that I guess are supposed to make it look antiqued. Hopefully the assembly of the second nighstand will go a little quicker since I have a better understanding of the instructions now. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and will eventually buy the matching dresser.
This product takes about 2 hours to assemble. Directions to assemble it were excellent. It's final look is like the picture, though the good price is probably due to it being made from a compressed wood than solid wood. We did a site to site order, which worked fine - but you might want to inspect the boxes before taking it home. We found some dinks in the wood where it came through the box protecting it. The dinks exposed the light wood underneath the dark stain. We were 1/2 way through assembling it and too lazy to go through the returning process - so we just covered the dinks with sharpie. Don't notice it at all anymore.
