I brought this lamp for my daughter and sh love it. The light is very bright and the speakers a clear loud enough for her. Overall it's a lamp.
I got this for my husband who has a hobby that requires some deatail work. He likes to work in the garage and asked for a lamp... what a great idea to upgrade it so he can listen to his ipod too! the light works great, and has a little wand to move the head of the lamp with out burining your finger tips.
First Off To All The Folks Who Complain That It Don't Charge There iPods......It Never Said It Would. This Is A Great Lamp, Own 2. I Use One With The Media Player On My LG Phone...Not Really Loud, But Just Fine When I Am Working On My Hobbies. The Other Is In My 12 Year Olds Room...What Can I Say, He Loves It And I Don't Have To Tell Him To Turn It Down. The Lighting Is Good, The Sound Is Fair To Good...And For 20 Bucks...Its Worth It.
My teenagers LOVE this product - anything that has dual purpose and saves space - sound is great too!
The lighting is very good but not at all overwhelming as i expected from the reviews. The speakers are not nearly as loud as i though they would be either. The description leads you to believe the lamp is dual voltage(110-240v) this however is not the case. I'm not sure about other ipods but i have an itouch and it will not set in the stand because it is not a docking station, there is an aux plug sticking out of the middle of the stand which explains why it will not charge the ipod.
I really like this lamp, it works great, its not too big, doesn't take up a lot of room. It has great sound it plays my ipod real good and its loud too. It's also very bright for such a small bulb its pretty bright it light's up my entire room no joke. its it says that it barely uses up any power. I recommend this product. even if you don't use it since its so bright its can be used to play your favorite music
Kind of small and not exactly what I thought it was. The bulb is very very bright but the neck on the lamp is too short. Not excatly what I was looking for in a desklamp.
This would be a good product if it "charged" the IPod while docked.
Goose neck was too short and lamp too bright so I had to pointed it at the ceiling. Lamp DOES NOT charge ipod and in fact gets so hot that my ipod was hot to the touch. Luckily it still works and I returned the lamp ASAP.
this product looked really great on the internet and well i went out to the walmart i i got me one and come home and put it on my work desk and installed the light bulb plugged it up and turned it on and the light blinded me it was so bright and then i went and got my mp3 player and turned it on and pressed that there play button and the speakers were mesed up one of them was busted and to top it all off it didnt even charge my mp3 player up it was so STUPID
