I make my gf bread normally at home..its cheaper and it tastes great but there are times when it deals with two of my kids who need to be glutenfree to have something quick for school lunches. gf bread is expensive..but if you can get this one on a good deal..its really worth it! When i have this in my pantry i have to make sure to have bread made so they eat that instead because if not two loafs of this would be gone in one day! lol not even kidding. there are no huge holes like certain brands out there..its soft! which is another plus..and holds up just like regular bread!
If you want gluten free bread, buy Kinnikinnik Brand bread imported from Canada (they sell them all over the US), even have an outlet in Cheyenne, Wyoming, population 60,000. So what is wrong with this bread? My hackles went up when the package said, "Do NOT Refrigerate". Its shelf life is several MONTHS. Then I tasted it. Rice is bland and I am a lifelong rice eater. I have no problem with rice. These folks have made this rice bread taste bad. As an experiment I left some of these bread crumbs near an ant hill along with other (regular bread) crumbs and some other grains. All gone in 24 hours except the Rice Loaf crumbs. Even the little critters know what to do.
It was really hard and not very good.
