These are the absolute BEST! TRUST ME! I actually live in a year round Christmas town that during the season has free chestnut roasting on an open fire. The problem is,…..you only get one, maybe 2 or 3 if there is enough to go around. So I bought some fresh ones to roast on my own open fire. Then I saw these and thought I would give them a try. They are even better than the ones roasted on the open fire! This brand is edible right out of the bag,….but I LOVE them roasted for 7 minutes at 375 degrees in my air fryer. I did buy a different brand from another online giant, and thought they were good until I bought these in the actual brick and mortar store (in the Kosher food section). Every single one of these were white inside (well actually tan), with no brown! I don't know if the brown is bad for you,….but the white inside just looks fresher to me. For those who are saying they are soft and mushy inside,…..yep,….thats how they are supposed to be. Crunchy means undercooked. So just know what to expect. Light in flavor and the consistency of a baked potato (maybe a little firmer). If you air fry them, the outside firms up slightly to a nice consistency. For those saying they are slimy,……the ones I got from the other online giant were like that until I roasted them. They tasted good and I just think that its just some of the moisture from the inside of the nut. These nuts are way softer than say peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc,…….a completely different texture. So don't think they have gone bad or there is something wrong with them if they are soft. Like I said before,…..crunchy means undercooked in the world of chestnut roasting.
Very good quality albeit the frequency of halves. A real satisfying taste. Very much worth the money. I will buy it again, unless the growing greed known as inflation spoils my preferential treatment.
The chestnuts 🌰 arrived in great shape and were delicious in every way. Ordered more than $35 so no shipping costs or tax. Great experience.
These chestnuts are perfect for snacking and adding to your favorite recipes. They come peeled beautiful and 99% whole.
A great big pack of snacking chestnuts. Perfect if you just want to heat them up in the microwave between two wet napkins or in a bowl of water. Kind of like sweet potatoes. Some are darker than others, but don't let that discourage you from eating these. Amazing price since everywhere else these are much more expensive.

I checked in at Parked %2314 and waited a long time with no response so I decided to cancel. I then got a notification that the utem was picked up. Before I left the parking spot I actually called to cancel the item. I need a refund.
I guess I just don't like chestnuts all right. please don't taste anything like roasted chestnuts. even when you roast these. they are dry and horrible. I guess it's just me
First, I love chestnuts! I cannot buy fresh ones in southeast Pennsylvania, since they always have live worms inside. I tried the Gefen brand years ago
