Great controller for the Xbox One S! Received a free enhanced wired gaming controller from PowerA. Compared to the standard controller the extra features the enhanced gaming one makes gaming easier for me. Having additional buttons for more keybind mappings and headset controls directly on the controller are key reasons to get it. Being a wired controller I really appreciate the fact that it also comes with a 10ft detachable cable.
Buttons and joysticks feel good and responsive Controller is very lite and looks good overall The programmable back buttons are nice and can be reprogrammed in-game It is a pain trying to plug the cord into the back of the controller you just about have to fight it every time and would be nice to see some type of texture on the top of the handles as it is a little to smooth for a good grip
I received this product for free from bzzAgent and brand in exchange for my honest review. In addition to its super affordable price and lifelike feel, PowerA Enhanced has a few other tricks up its sleeve. It has two trigger buttons on the underside of the handle that can be easily set for mobility. Furthermore, the PowerA Enhanced handle is available in a variety of colors. Power A's buttons are made quite beautifully and are very contoured to create a comfortable feeling when pressed, the bounce of the button is very good, there is no feeling of subsidence or shallowness. The pressure is just right, neither too light nor too heavy. The button's journey is average, ensuring no delay for gamers to "spam".
My main controller is the Xbox Elite Series 2. I play a lot of my games in my living room anymore so this controller has a nice long cord to reach to my couch while my Elite controller is on charge. I like that this controller also features two buttons on the back that can be mapped similarly to my elite controller. Good quality would recommend.
I did not expect to love this controller as much as I do. The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller is an amazing Controller and I can honestly say that I prefer it over my Microsoft xbox branded controllers. This Controller has great weight to it and feels very high quality, it has the feel of a Microsoft xbox Controller, but it has more features. I think the headset dial is a very nice touch so that I can adjust the volume of the game/chat volume. I was concerned when I saw that I could not plug in my headset mixer which allows me to adjust the game and chat volume separately, but the headset dial did the job for me. Another thing that I love and that sets this Controller apart from other is the advanced gaming buttons. I love having the ability to program buttons onto the back of my Controller. As a FPS gamer I like having the option to customize my button layout so I can play and move faster in game. The Controller runs smoothly and the analog stick are also smooth and comfortable to use. Overall this Controller is a 10/10 and I will definitely be buying more controllers from this brand. I also want to add that the wired adaptor is nice and long so I was able to game from my usual set-up with no problem. No more worrying about recharging my batteries!
This controller has been great for gaming with my kids. We've been playing Halo Infinite and FarCry with it and not had any issues so far. I really appreciate the programmable buttons near the triggers on the underside of the controller that you can remap to other functions - This lets you keep your fingers near the triggers and not have to pull your thumbs off the joysticks. I like the long 9+ft USB cable that lets me sit far back from my console and still have plenty of slack. It looks like a standard USB-A to Micro-USB cable that can detach from the back of the controller. I was able to plug it into my Windows 11 laptop and play Minecraft immediately without installing any software or drivers. So far, the joysticks and buttons have held up well to gameplay. I've not noticed any extra give or looseness in the joysticks, but I've only been using it for about a week. Overall, this is a solid, lightweight controller that I can use with my Xbox and my laptop.
This controller is the perfect edition to an Xbox. No more worrying about dead batteries. With everything so inflated right now I love the convenience of not having to buy new batteries or leave on a charging station for hours. The remote is smooth, easy to use and works great.
For a wired controller this is pretty nice. I like the programmable buttons on it and nice grips. The wire is a bit of a set back since my controllers have been wireless for 10+ years. I typically use an elite controller and enjoy the ability to customize but this is a decent choice for price sensitive gamers
This controller is very light but not in a cheap way. The cord is super long which is something I was worried about. It has a mic spot so you can use a headset.It works well and my youngest loves it. I do think the joy pads are going to get lose a bit faster than my original controller but for the price it is worth it. Especially for heavy handed younger kids who run through them like crazy.
I would like a replacement meant controller the joysticks are poorly made and break easily i had very bad stick drift and the next day the joystick popped out and stopped working completely
