This is an item that is designed to save an Atwood RV water heater with an aluminum tank from corroding. A magnesium sacrificial anode does the corroding, prevening the aluminum from corroding. I've used these before in various RVs. They work.
So far so good. A must in any camper hot water tank
Have used an anode before in my Atwood water tank and this one fit fine and should work well.
