I think this was a great deal. One caveat: only one side is finished. This did not matter to me, but if you need both sides finished, this might not be for you.
I purchased this 4-panel room divider because I had an area that was an eye sore and it just needed a little something. This 4-panel room divider got the job done. If this goes on sale again I plan on buying another. Study and I love the natural look.
This is my second purchase with Walmart and the 4 panel room divider. The divider was doubled boxed and arrived super fast. There were no flaws in my dividers. The first one I purchased for my front door small hallway to keep my Houdini cat from running out the front door. I put in two eye and hooks on the side of divider and hooked it to the door frame. I can now cover the front door with divider before I open the door. It worked so well. So to all you owners of a Houdini cat try this method. The second divider I purchased for my bedroom to cover my bed view from the window by the front door. Nothing like waking up to the Fedex delivery man looking at you in bed first thing in the morning! For the bedroom divider for more privacy I took and old flat sheet cut out a piece to fit the back flat side in a whole piece and tacked it somewhat loosely so I can fold up the divider when not in use. Let me tell you. This worked out wonderful. You can not see through the divider cracks or see shadows through the faux rice paper. I love these dividers and you cannot beat the price with free shipping.
This is a great product for my spare room for hiding that stuff that needs to be out of sight,plus it looks nice in that room and makes it look neat all the time. I am glad I bought this and would tell anyone who just wants to make a room look good this does it.It's light weight and I can move it easy when getting my vacum cleaner . So not a big deal to move any time you need to get to what you may have stored for hiding.
We looked for a Room Divider and they all were over 250 plus each. The 4-Panel Room Divider, Natural was in our price range, the quality was excellent for the price and just what we needed. The Shipping was fast, more cost effective (with $3.75 a gal gas) than going out to the store for pick up. If you want to spend $300.00 plus for a Room Divider with 3/4" thick panels and cloth covered this one is not for you. However, if you need a simple Room Divider look and see if they have something that will work you will save money.
IT WAS DELIVERED QUICKLY AND WAS A INSTANT FIX FOR OUR OFFICE. WE LIKE THE NATURAL WOOD AND IT LOOKS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN IT REALLY IS. WILL BE BUYING TWO MORE.
The four panel natural wood shoji screen arrived swiftly. It was well packed and intact. It is attractive and is actually somewhat sturdier than I expected, given the low cost. There is an uneven spattering of some sort of polyurethane type finish, but is mostly natural wood, and I doubt anyone will notice. I am using it in my acupuncture office as a feng shui remedy. It serves the purpose well.
I am just surprised at how expensive 'room dividers' are. It isn't great quality and isn't much to look at. (Some of the little wooden screeny-bits are not square) Seems like a lot to spend, but they were all this expensive, so if this is what you want, then this one is 'fine'.
The screen is easy to fold, with hinges that work in either direction, and lightweight so that it can be carried easily. It sits flat on the floor so that it is not likely to tip over. However, it is delicate. The grid is formed of thin strips of wood, and the translucent barrier is thick paper. It will be tricky to dust, since the wooden strips are not entirely smooth; and only a limited number of cleaning products can be used on the paper. The panel comes with cleaning instructions.
The panel was delivered with a broken wood part...Will return it as soon s i got the chance... It is not very stable on carpeted floor since it doesn't have a brace as a stand.. It looks good except for the broken part maybe due to delivery carelessness.
