Our family is having a great time with our new Oculus Quest 2 VR head set. The visual effects are amazing, so life like. We love how it make you feel like its real and your part of it. We have had so many laughs since we purchase this, It has been fun for everyone. I do wish the game were some what cheaper or that possible the manufacturer could offer ways that you could upload like 2 or 3 games of choice for free ,especially since this product is not a cheap purchase. It does have some game already available to use but it would be nice to offer a buyers choice. The color is beautifully vibrant. We have just recently found out that if you own 2 or someone else has a VR Oculus Quest 2, you can purchase some games that can be played together, like both in them at same time. How awesome is that ?? Its so amazing. By far we are so happy with this purchase and cant wait to get more games to enjoy on our Oculus adventures.......
Our son had show us his Oculus Quest 2 shortly after it came out, when he was home with his family, from being overseas serving in the US Air Force. We were very impressed with it but didn't get around to purchasing one for ourselves. Some while later, sadly my husband and I caught the coronavirus, he had a months hospital stay, where I was asymptomatic. My husband is still on oxygen and medications after a year and 2 months from being diagnosed. Television and the internet became his almost constant companion. This, from a man who way so active prior to contracting the virus. His happiness was hard to come by. I got to talking with our son on FaceTime and the Oculus conversation came up again. I made it in my mind that I would purchase one for my husband. On July 11, 2021, I ordered it. When it arrived I got my husband to “help me” with the packages that came in that day. Fortunately I was filming my husband as he opened the WalMart box it came it. I can't tell you how much it meant to me, to see the smile on his face. When I sent the video to our son, he was beside himself with joy. It is now August 11, 2021, my husband is so much happier these days with his Oculus. He gets to be almost as active as he use to be. With his Oculus, he's climbed mountains, walked the streets of places he was at, while he serving in the US Army, gone to different cities and countries, he's been under water, outer space, he's flown with the US Blue Angels and on and on. All in all, My Husband Is HAPPY Again. I would most definitely recommend the Oculus Quest 2!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making such a WONDERFUL piece of equipment.

I own a PSVR and feel the Oculus Quest 2 is a far better experience with more apps. The ability to play my XBOX online games via Game Pass Ultimate is a big plus for me.
Wow. Buy the 256 GB model. Buy the Anker charging dock and the elite strap. This setup will change the way you perceive reality! Wow.

Pre-ordered mine from Walmart.com back in September right after the Quest 2 was announced. Was expected to arrive on the 15th of October, but came the 14th. Winning! Prior to the Quest 2, I had an Oculus Rift CV1 (the original Rift, not the Rift S). What I love about it: -The graphics are a MASSIVE upgrade. I would never have been interested in watching TV or Movies on the Rift. Netflix in VR now actually looks appealing to me. -Cutting the cord changes the game. Being tied to a heavy computer really limits what you want to do in VR. -Setup was extremely easy. It took me days of fiddling and I had to buy new parts to get the Rift working. I took my Quest 2 out of the box, had to download an app and pair with my phone, and after five minutes total, I was up and running. -Larger controllers. I have big hands, and these controllers are more comfortable for me than the Rift ones I was used to. Things that disappointed me: -The basic headstrap cuts into the top of my ears and puts too much weight on my cheekbones. I'll definitely be upgrading with the Elite Strap as soon as I can get my hands on one. Given the low price of the base system, I'm not particularly bent out of shape about this. -Was extremely displeased to see that titles I bought in the Oculus store for my Rift have to be RE-BOUGHT at the same or higher price on the Oculus store for Quest/Quest 2. I realize Facebook has left this decision to the developers, but as someone who already owned games like Beat Saber and Superhot VR and was really excited to play them without a cord, I'm angry. Definitely won't be paying full price again for the same games, and just have a bad taste in my mouth because those games were my main reason for buying the Quest 2. -Graphics when connecting to my PC through a high-quality USB-C cable (The official, more expensive Oculus Link cable is sold out everywhere) are worse than I expected. I haven't gotten to troubleshoot this, so I may find a way around it, but off the bat, not what I was hoping for. It may be the lower framerates, but some games are making me queasy in the Quest 2 that never did on the Rift. Again, that only applies to playing PC VR games over the a Link cable. Neither here nor there: -Facebook account. I have one, I don't use it a lot, but linked it to my account, whatever. I'm actually hoping this might help me reconnect better with some old friends I've lost touch with since joining the military and moving away. We'll see. -Sound. It's different compared to how the Rift did it, but I wouldn't say better or worse. Battery life. It last a couple hours. Might be a bit short for some, but I have young kids, so imagining that I'm going to spend more than two hours at a time wearing this thing is a pipe dream for me. Hope this helps others make their decision. If you haven't tried VR, this is an amazing, amazing place to start.
Seems really neat so far. The head strap is uncomfortable and makes changing users a difficult task, as each user must find the perfect fit...lots of strap adjustments. We plan to upgrade the headset strap. Setup was slightly messy, as we had issues with Facebook login. Gameplay seems great. My daughter loves it. Battery life is not too long, 1.5-2 hours at most. Beat Saber and 5 nights at Freddys are the two games they play, and they love them. Good purchase overall
