We didnt have any problem using the card, But as for a gift the person did still have to put some money towards the service and fees because the card didnt cover the installion and one month of service
It' a card to startup your account. Just buy and apply! simple.
It came with manufacture problems i couldn't activated at the moment that i received it, so i had to send it back to walmart i wait for another one that works.
