I purchased this item for my boyfriend for his birthday. It acts as an add on for his car radio. it does NOT replace the radio. (just so you know before purchasing). Its small so it hides underneath his radio and stays unseen. If you want to get HD stations AND regular stations you would have to buy a splitter. CD quality sound BUT if its cloudy, we have heard the music 'skip'. The station we listen to has a second station with different music.
