This information is invaluable and I am spreading the word to all of my close friends who didn't realize this information was even available. This is helping me make make proper decisions with my fertility, knowledge is power! My mother went through very early menopause (age 39!) and I was so worried that I would be experiencing the same timing. Due to my results, I feel like I have a lot more time to make decisions. When I asked my doctor for a hormone panel so I could start to figure out why we hadn't gotten pregnant after several months of trying, I was told that I would need a referral. Then I would need to visit a lab for blood to be drawn. Then I would have to wait to consult with my physician after a few weeks for processing. Instead I jumped online, bought the Modern Fertility kit, and in a couple weeks I had all the information I needed.
I'm so glad we have something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to find out how our hormones and fertility are doing! I've been married almost 5 years and was always scared I was infertile, but thanks to modern fertility I was able to find out that I'm not.
It felt good to be informed about my hormone levels. I loved the weekly webinar I attended with a fertility nurse. She was so informative and personable! My AMH level was slightly low, which initially induced some anxiety, but the nurse was able to soothe some of that by recommending next steps. I know now what I need to do to stay on top of my fertility plans, and that is so empowering.
Its been great! I’m able to learn on my own terms and am presented with information that is easy to understand, while being backed up by research and science. It is going to be a big year for me! I’m planning a wedding in and will start trying to have a baby shortly after. I’m lucky to have met the perfect partner a few years ago. Before then, I had resigned myself to being alone and having a child on my own at 35 when I could support both me and a child professionally. Now that I have another half, I am balancing the complex equation of optimizing career and health to have two children before I’m 40. When it comes to fertility and pregnancy - I get a bit angry. I’ve had so many mixed messages thrown my way in the past 20 years and I’ve never known what applies to me. For some odd reason, this information is withheld from young women as they mature. Information and data helps me plan and to understand risks as I age. Understanding MY data is way more accurate than living by statistics. Thank you for taking out some of the guess work and allowing me to “have it all” or at least understand what I can have, when. Thank you for making Modern Fertility.
I've loved my experience with Modern Fertility. The test was simple to schedule and take, the dashboard is super easy to understand, and I've enjoyed connecting with the women at Modern Fertility to have my questions answered, as well as share ideas on how to improve the product.
It was a wonderful and pleasant experience. Especially love the convenience of being able to do the labs in the privacy of my own home without having to schedule an appointment of take time off of work. It was effortless and gratifying! Great feedback when taking this test - but they only say Normal/High/Low in the results. It would be nice to know if your on the better than average side instead of just normal or average for one's age. I bit for detailed feedback in comparison as you age would be more helpful. I am being super picky though - it's a great ballpark test. Overall it was cool info to receive and came back in a super quick manner for me.
The test was easy to use and I got my results back quickly. The test is so inexpensive compared to what you would pay at a doctor’s office. Being able to pay with my HSA was super helpful, too! I have much more peace of mind knowing what all of my levels are and what they mean as my husband and I start trying to conceive. Start to finish, using Modern Fertility has been a great experience!
I thought the test gave me some good information. I do wish that there was more follow-up on the results! Multiple others have said they got a second test ordered for the next cycle to recheck abnormals but I didn't have this. I also didn't really feel like the results changed anything for me.
