I bought this dishwasher last November because of its size. I didn't have a lot of expectations. I've owned 6 dishwashers over the years. This one is by far the very best! Everything comes out sparking and I mean sparkling!! I just took out a crockpot that I had cooked tomato sauce in. The sauce had been reheated and was caked on the pot. I had hardy rinsed it before loading it in the washer, just to see. It just shone!!! I always make sure the water is it's hottest before hooking it up. I use one soap cube that I throw in the bottom of the washer. I run eithe the normal setting or light wash (which is quicker). I use hi-temp setting and air dry. I've never been disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My husband & I bought the Frigidaire Dishwasher after our old dishwasher stopped working. I am was very impressed by the quality of workmanship when the unit arrived. The compact exterior is deceptive, it holds three meals worth of our dishes when we run it. It is very quiet and uses far less water then our old unit. The stainless steel interior is easy to clean and the racks are easy to load. I am pleased beyond my expectations. It was a very good buy.
Once I read the manual and got it going it worked great for a month. Then water leaked when I hitched it up to the faucet,. It is pretty easy to tighten them though., I used a pair of pliers to snug it up. That is the only problem I have had. It works perfectly., The connection is a bit stiff at first, but they loosen up with use. Its quiet too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We bought this dishwasher a few months ago and it gets a work out. We have a small kitchen, but a family of 6. The dishwasher holds a surprising amount for it's size. It is the perfect size for a single person or a couple, but even with our bustling family it is a big help. The dishwasher is very quiet and hooks up easily to the kitchen faucet. I really like the stainless steel interior. The dishwasher appears to be very well made and cleans dishes well. I am happy with this product and would recommend it. We have a small kitchen and the way it is configured, there is no room for a built in full size dishwasher. We decided to give this Frigidaire a try and are happy with it's performance and the fact that we can easily roll it away to the adjacent mud room to store it. The one thing that we didn't know and are pleasantly surprised about is that it is very quiet.
This purchase is a replacement for an outdated, heavy, broken old portable dishwasher. We needed something my wife could maneuver around the kitchen without breaking her back. This unit is the best for the money. Stainless steel tub, with enough capacity for the dishes that only a married couple produces. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very easy to use, control with spacious compartment. Operates Quietly.
We were gifted a portable dishwasher and after much research, chose this one, partly because it would arrive with free shipping. For the most part everything is fine and it works. It is small but that is to be expected, given what it is. I constantly wish it were just a little bigger but alas, that is not going to happen in our kitchen. I was originally quite pleased with the back panel that hides the power cord and hose and we dutifully put it away after each use. We've now reached a point where we just leave it plugged in and the hose flops around in our way in the sink because it's easier than putting it away. I wish it was a bit easier to tether the hose out of the way when not in use, besides stuffing it back in the slot (which is kind of difficult). We may come up with our own idea to hook it to the wall or something. The top drawer has never slid back into place nicely and gets stuck on the track. A forceful push and it will go into place but that's a bit annoying. Another annoyance is the silverware caddy. We pretty quickly removed the stupid slotted top that was attached to the top. Who has silverware that will cleanly fit into those slots? Also we ended up removing the carry handle for the silverware caddy because it was always getting in the way of putting silverware INTO it. Then I had to zip tie it to the edge of the lower rack because it moved around too much and never seemed to have a perfect home in that lower rack. Does it wash the dishes, absolutely and I'm glad to have it. We use the light wash, hi temp settings the most and haven't had cause to use the longer runs after a first or second try. The light wash is one of the shortest duration washes and seems to work just fine for our dishes. One last thing,we need to move this to get to a basement door unfortunately. I find it doesn't roll very well and I'm often fighting with it to move it out of the way. We are strong and I would hate to see someone who was older or weaker fighting with it. what we don't like is the length of time it takes to run through the washing cycle . No matter which cycle we use it takes 4 to 41/2 hours to run a wash cycle. we've increased water temp to above 120 degrees as per factory rep with no change in cycle length.
After waiting for an exceptionally long time to receive this dishwasher from a local retailer, we found that it is much smaller than the former Whirlpool 18" dishwasher that we had prior to this one. Also, the bottom rack has tilted tines in odd positions, making it very difficult to fit a variety of dishes inside. The silverware tray can only go in one location, which happens to be near the middle of the bottom rack, making the position of items even more difficult. If it didn't already take months to receive it, I would have returned it for a different, cheaper and better designed model.
