EXCELLENT quality. This dollhouse is not cardboard but quality sturdy pressboard wood. My 8 year old grand daughter said on Christmas "I got everything I ever wanted". The lights glow and she was excited about opening the 85 items to set each room up. Highly recommend this product.
So worth the money be careful what you spend sometimes its cheaper than they put up always research your products but omg my daughter loves her lol house
I bought this for my little girls this Christmas and they absolutely loved it. It took me and my son at least 1 hr and a half to put this house together but my girls smiles and excitement was worth every minute. Its a pain, but just gotta have patients and follow each step. It was alil difficult knowing wat side some pieces needed to be facing so we were constantly looking at the picture on the box but even that wasnt much help either. Each piece had a sticker with a letter on it so that helped alot. Also, we build it in da living room, but my daughter's ended up wanting it in there room, uumm well there room is upstairs, this house is heavy, need at least to peeps to carry unless ur build like macho man then u shud be fine...Lol. so my suggestion mayb build it were you plan to leave it at, just sayin!!
my daughter had been asking for this dollhouse since it came out. I just bought it for her this passed weekend (9-28-19) for her birthday. She was more than excited when she opened it. It was her favorite present. When we got it home we immediately opened it and put it together. The wood is very sturdy and instructions were very easy to follow and it was done in no time. Some things light up and makes noise which is awesome and there's even a little disco ball that hangs from the ceiling. Coolest toy ever! The only thing I didn't like was that it says you can put water in the pool which is a neat idea but if the wood gets wet it ruins the design that's on the wood. I would suggest lining that part of the house with plastic or take the pools out if you want to put water in them. Otherwise this is a fantastic toy and I wish I had one when I was a kid.
Over all I think this dollhouse will be a hit for the special little girls I bought it for. LOL is their absolute favorite thing and when thinking about the cost I want something that will be played with more than a week. I believe this dollhouse will deliver endless amount of entertainment for a long time. So even though the Barbi dollhouse was cheaper I didn't mind throwing in the extra money for LOL. However, as an adult looking at this I was disappointed on several levels. We bought this for a Christmas gift so we wanted to assemble the physical house before hand and hide it away and just wrap up the moving truck for Christmas. Once we started assembling the house we found out that many things we needed were in the moving truck such as the elevator stairs windows and most importantly the directions! This was very frustrating. Thank goodness for YouTube that told us right where to find these items. I just feel those items shouldn't be included in the surprises as they are required to build the house. Plus it makes assembling the house before hand so your child doesnt have to wait impossible. Then my second major issue was quality. The house itself is super cute. I loved all the artwork and overall the house looks good put all together. But my problem was the house is just partion board some of the corners were torn or had water spots or scratches. I must have found at least 10 places that has damage but they were all minor and I don't think it will be noticed by the girls just frustrating to me. Overall I would not change buying this house. My issues with it doesn't take away from how excited and happy I think this will make the girls and that makes it worth the money.
Purchased for my 4 year old. She loves LOL. I would say this is a great item with one huge design flaw. Its made ofâwoodâ. Which is like a really nice partical board. The main thing I would change is the shelf that holds the pools. If it gets wet which it is designed to have water in it for color changing LOL dolls. It looks horrible She has only played with it for 2 days and its already showing weekness. I just think that shelf should be a hard plastic or something more accepting of water. My daughter loves it though.
I'm honestly disappointed in this item. It's advertised as "real wood"
my 7 yr old loves lol and I went through a lot trying to find this house for her for Christmas, only to be disappointed with the quality of this so called real wood, u can't tighten the screws to tight because it will strip the holes and I read in one of the other reviews about the misprint of the board and thought what are the chances of that happening again and I needed up with the same misprint (go figure) the front of the board with the print for the livingroom and the kitchen is fine, but when u look in the back, the door is upside down, with the price this cost and the way the kids are going crazy over this thing u would think they would at least make it worth it, I'm just saying
after hours of building it.. there's a missing piece! its a waste of time!
Beware company only gives 30 day warranty for defective pieces. The kid was being naughty so she didnt get it. We just now are opening and putting it together and I find this issue where the elevator shaft apparently has a sticky back and when it was assembled in the warehouse it was put on crooked so now either the elevator wont work or rip the paper decoration off the almost 200 dollar doll house. They wont do anything even though it was their fault because its been too long. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
