This castle is great because it is plain and lends more to the child's imagination. We bought the furniture too. My grand daughter plays with it with the fisher price little people.
Beautifully constructed! My 4 year old granddaughters eyes lit up when she opened this for her birthday. I bought a wooden dollhouse family and wooden table
As with all Melissa and Doug toys, this one was a hit with my 3 yr old twin girls. They received it for Christmas last year, and of all their toys (and I'm embarrassed by how many they have), this one has been played with every single day. Because it folds, they can carry it themselves from room to room, making up adventures as they go. Highly recommend.
I purchased this castle for my granddaughter's 4th birthday, which is today. I know she'll love it, because I bought the regular fold & go castle for her over 2 years ago at a yard sale. It had been drawn on with crayons, a few of the stairs were broken, and most of the accessories were missing. With all that, it has been her favorite toy! She still plays with it everyday! She's into the whole pink and princess things, so this one is perfect! Thanks for the great quality product!
I bought the fold and go princess castle and the fold and go castle for my 4yo twin nieces this Christmas. I also bought the royal family figure set and the castle figure set. They love everything! I found all the products to be of great quality - well made and very sturdy. My sister-in-law loves how everything folds up for easy clean up. Great gift. I will definitely buy from Melissa and Doug again.
This was the hit of my 2 year old daughter's birthday party. All the little ones- boys and girls- were huddled around it. She will stand and play at this for up to an hour just moving the people around and putting them "night-night". I was looking for a nice dollhouse for her younger years that wasn't made of plastic and love that her auntie bought this for her. This is a big favorite of ours.
I purchased this castle for my granddaughter's third birthday. I had a small plastic castle that she liked a lot, so I thought she would love this one, and she does! Her older five year old sister loves it too. It's very well-made.
Granddaughter just turned four. She absolutely loves this castle. She has been playing for hours and don't even want a movie on. She said it is awesome.
My 3 year old birthday girl absolutely loved this. She's all about princesses now and this was PERFECT for her age and interests. So glad they also have a set of characters to go with it!
I wanted to love this toy. I was extremely disappointed when my daughter opened it for her 3rd Birthday. There was hot glue all over the queen and king's faces and clothes. There was also hot glue all over the horses. It makes the toys look really sad and unattractive to play with. Castle seemed fine. I really like M&D toys, but they need to work on their quality control before shipping toys out, especially for their prices. This purchase will make me think twice before buying their toys again.
