Easy enough to open and easy enough to use. My granddaughter love the colors and the sounds. The music keeps her motivated to match them up in the right slots.Will definitely be looking for some more of these or at least similar to, so that she can keep busy. Awesome find!
Love this puzzle it has sounds that match the Puzzle piece. My granddaughter is autistic and loves Mickey Mouse. She immediately had a connection to the puzzle not only because of Mickey Mouse but also the sounds with the pieces. Within a day she could match the pieces. This is a great learning tool that's really fun for the child. It's made of high quality materials from Melissa and Doug so you know it's a safe product. I highly recommend this product.
I love this puzzle because it helps my daughter with not only matching but learning the forms of transportation and their sounds. She has fun doing this puzzle. And I have fun watching her progress.
The puzzle and colors attracted all 3 of my kids to It within seconds! They loved it!!! Super cute makes noises, and keeps them entertained for 30 minutes! Has all characters and there's a Knob to pick up the puzzle pieces! It has a sensor spot on the bottom of the pieces to signal the noise
The Melissa and Doug puzzle is cute looking and I like the Mickey theme. When you get this puzzle make sure you have AAA batteries. The sound will not work without batteries, luckily I always have a ton of these. The puzzle is sturdy and and brightly decorated. The one real complaint I have is that the sounds it makes are not loud enough. I understand that since it's a childs toy the sounds shouldn't be loud to protect the child's hearing, but this puzzles' speaker is too low. At first I didn't even know that the sound was working I thought it was messed up, that is until I got close to it. My son was excited to use it, but then he lost interest quickly. He told me it was broken. The ambulance, the firetruck and the train were the ones that made the loudest sounds. In my opinion the rest are too low. Other than that, this puzzle could make a great gift for a disney vehicle loving child. If you don't care for noise making toys, then you don't have to put batteries in it. It is a puzzle afterall, and will work as a puzzle even without batteries.
I have a two year old great grandson who lives with me so this was an ideal toy for him to try.He played with it for close to an hour.The puzzle is very educational as it teaches shapes and sounds.I felt that the sounds could have been a little louder but they do make pretty much authentic sounds like fire engine or train etc. You have to wait until you replace one puzzle piece before you can make another one sound.Most small children love Mickey Mouse so that is an added bonus.The puzzle is really sturdy and should last a long time.
My toddler is a big fan of mickey mouse club house so definitely she loves this puzzle. It's good for hand eye coordination and the sound feature is a plus ans very exciting for kids. It requires batteries.
Super cute wooden vehicles sound puzzle. My two year old really likes it. The puzzle makes realistic vehicle sounds. It comes with eight different pieces each one making its unique different sound according to its vehicle depicment. My son's favorite puzzle pice is the fire engine. I am not sure if it's because it's actually the loudest puzzle piece because the other pices particularly the motorcycle are very very low. Overall it is a fun, well made, educative puzzle for the little ones. I only wish the sounds volume was louder.
I usually LOVE every Melissa and Doug product we buy for our boys but I'm not a big fan of these sound puzzles! The problem I have with them is the peices are light activated or to be more accurate dark activated. When I first opened and put a battery in this puzzle for my 3 year old it was not working and I could not figure out why it wasn't making any sounds when we were putting the peices in their places. Then I read on tje packaging and it tells yoy to make sure you are playing in direct light as the pieces are activated when they are covered up! So instead of a magnet or something it is a little sensor that when covered up activating the noise... Leading to my problem being when my kid is playing with the puzzle when he goes to reach across the puzzle to insert one of the peices into it'd place the shadow of his arm covers up the other slots there for activating the wrong sound. Other then that my boy seems to have fun playing with his mickey puzzle. The idea of these puzzles is wonderful but the way they are light activated just doesnt work out that well! This is honestly the first and only Melissa and Doug product I wasn't extremely happy with!
The sounds that the pieces are to make when placed correctly either don't work or are the wrong sounds!
