This number board is a great way to introduce numbers. My toddlers love it. Behind each number are pictures that matches the number. So its a great reinforcement tool when playing with them. This review is part of Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program. It is my honest experience with the product.
I've been working on number recognition with my toddler and this puzzle is perfect! It's a great size for her little hands and the puzzle itself is light weight enough for her to move from one place to another. The pegs on the individual puzzle pieces make them easy to pick up and the numbers themselves are nice and colorful. This is a perfect little puzzle for your small child!
The puzzle is fun for my 2 1/2 years old daughter to work on and actually using her brain to figure which number to put in the right slot. The numbers are big and colorful! As long as I keep the puzzle up until I sit with my little girl to play with it, she couldn't put the numbers in her mouth to chew, we'd be doing great. Highly recommended!
I like that this puzzle has little "handles" and is made from wood. We need sturdy puzzles around my granddaughter! She loves playing with puzzle and I like the fact she can learn her numbers and colors at the same time!
We love Melissa and Doug puzzles, and this is no exception. You can't beat the quality of the puzzle pieces. The Disney characters are a plus and my son loved them. It's sturdy and won't tear up when kept in the toy box or on the shelf. It's great for keeping this attention with the bright colors and characters. Would definitely recommend when working with young children on their numbers!
My Granddaughter loves this little puzzle! It's brightly colored with familiar Disney characters she recognizes and loves. The small knobs are easy for little hands, and playing with it is both fun and educational. It's quite well made, too- and has already stood up to a battering! It would make a most welcome gift for a toddler.
This is a wonderful learning puzzle. Every Melissa and Doug product is so well made and lasts a very long time. Something to know about this puzzle is that under the puzzle pieces there isn't the same picture, as many wooden puzzles have. For example- under the 8 there are 8 bones to represent the number 8, not another number 8. This can make this slightly hard for toddlers who are using their matching skills to complete the puzzle. However, this can also can be great for learning and and thinking if they see the number been counted out. Also, wish the pegs had like a bag or Velcro sticking to keep the puzzle pieces in play when not in usage.
I will give this Alphabet puzzle to my 3 yr old niece for her to identify numbers..
The Melissa and Doug Mickey Mouse Numbers Puzzle is a great learning puzzle for little ones. My 2 year old absolutely loves Mickey Mouse and she loved this puzzle. She played with it over and over again. She would finish and ask to immediately do it again. The puzzle helps kids learn numbers, colors and counting. Each number cutout has items to count that relate to a Mickey Mouse character that is printed nearby. The pegs are a great size to help with fine motor skills as well as help learn pencil grips. Overall a great learning puzzle.
This is a great educational toy! It works for both learning and playing. This puzzle is simple for kids of any age. My toddler loves the characters on the puzzle. He enjoys figuring out where the pieces go. I like that this puzzle also teaches him his colors and numbers. I like Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles because they're durable and it's one of my go to brands for educational toys. I highly recommend this toy for any toddler!
