The Wison 4 ball can had all but become extinct. I am delighted that they resurfaced. My tennis friends and I swear by the Wilson 4 ball can.
Fast, great spin, velocity, and they wear gracefully. I open a new can every week but sometimes bring out last week's can for warm ups. Great purchase!!
US Open balls are the best balls for amateur/recreational/club tennis. So many people start playing with Penn or Wilson Championship balls, which are fine for beginners, but US Open balls should be used for 2.5-4.5 rated players. These balls are made better, they bounce better due to quality rubber, and they keep their bounce and pressure levels for longer. The difference between these balls and the championship balls is basically like the difference between orange/red/green dot balls for Juniors. They are very much worth the extra dollar or two, as compared to the price of championship balls.
Wilson US Open extra duty tennis balls are the best tennis balls for hard court. They have always the same bounce and mass, consistent quality with no manufacture defects unlike cheaper balls or brands and the same characteristic feel regardless the temperature or other playing conditions.
The Wilson US Open Tennis Ball is the best ball out of the many I've used for competitive play at the park. Every can has a consistent feel and play stays solid for a very long time. A ball is more likely to get lost than retired.
I was amazed that these alls lost their “fluff” after a couple of hours of play, while Penn balls held their fluff, color and overall appearance much longer. After meet little play, Thea Wilson balls were “slicker” than the competition. They both had about the same ounce, but reacted very differently off the strings and off the court.
Usually Us open Wilson balls bounce very well. I have opened 14 cans till now but very low bounce right from the moment we opened. Very disappointing. Only reason we buy this even though this is slightly expensive is because it has good bounce. Planning to move to a different brand from next time!.
You list a photo of 24 cases of balls . So I purchased but only received 1 . Please resolve the issue or send full refund. Can you see how misleading this is with the picture you post and what we receive. Please refund me asap. I'll buy an entire case at the store for the same price I paid for a care not 3 balls.
Do not buy!!! Item is mis-represented. The description clearly pictures a caseload 24 cans (3-ball-packs) of tennis balls. I was charged $47.42 ($23.71 each) and was shipped 2 cans instead of 2 cases.
Very disappointing, seriously!! Until 3 years ago these balls were the best among many. But these days the felt is not lasting for 2 sets. At least one ball become dud by the end of the game.
