I bought the white shades, and they exceeded my expectations! They let in a lot of light but the material is sturdy enough to hang well... My windows are actually only 36 inches wide, but they worked perfectly. I had thought of making my own roman shades, but I couldn't make them for this price. I'm very happy with this purchase! (they don't look like a formal roman shade, more like a pretty country kitchen type thing. I used them in the bathroom, they look great!)
Love the almost canvas look and together with the grommets makes me think of camping or up north. Completely fits in my ultra casual minimalist room.
This curtain is a great solution for replacing the mini-blinds that my dogs keep wrecking. Looks fine hung and tied up. No problem figuring out how to thread the ties, just look at the picture. I agree with other reviews, the color is quite a bit lighter than the photo, more of a cream color and is a rougher canvas material than I expected. Lets light through, which is fine for my purposes, for the living room, but I wouldn't want to use this in a bedroom unless you want to get up at the crack of dawn. Is definitely for a casual look, this is not for a fancy home. Only issue is the craftsmanship on these is not great. Lots of stray threads, material poking out from grommets, etc on the back side.
We put these in our morning room vs. traditional blinds. They are easy to pull up and down and my friend came over and said how great they looked. They took some time to weave (maybe 5 minutes each) through the loops. Great option for a light, airy feel!
This little curtain was perfect for the kitchen window over my sink. The fabric is a much better quality then I expected being like a cross between linen and cotton. Perfect for the price. It is not a bright white but the color worked for me anyway.
I bought this shade for my smaller kitchen window. I had to cut the length down some to fit the window properly. Otherwise, it looks great, and was easy to install (just slides into a standard curtain rod.) Great piece for the price as well.
The price on these is obviously great, and the fabric is actually decent quality; nice and sturdy. I purchased the "natural" color based on the picture and it was super misleading. I'm in marketing so I understand print vs. screen vs. other screens, but this is WAY off. Even on the package the color in the picture is much darker than the actual product. Think more the natural color of a canvas tote. It was tough to get these to not look sloppy, but with some finagling they look ok. Definitely a very casual feel - like a dorm room - more than for your home.
For my purposes, the fact that this shade is a canvas material and provides privacy, turned out to be a good thing. However, the pic on the website is NOT true to it's actual look. I only gave it 3 stars because after the first washing one of the grommets fell off! Fortunately, my husband was able to replace it. If you are looking for something sheer, you should NOT buy this! But if you want a canvas look, they are nice and thick and kind of cute.
The window treatment was horrible. Nothing like it was pictured. The color is not as pictured either. They have huge silver grommet holes that are very visable and just do not match the decor of the window treatment. Then on top of that they are impossible to figure out, no information on how to thread the ties through the grommets. The fabric appears to be a light weight linen but it is a heavy canvas that is very bullky. They are going back.
I washed it on the gentle cycle and some of the grommets came out. I was confused on how to thread the strings through the shade.
