This is NOT a bath sponge I would buy. It does NOT elevate baby's head, which leaves you with only one hand to bathe baby; it is far too thin to be called bath sponge, and why the elevated island between baby's legs??? It should be called a counter sponge. A TRUE bath sponge should be 2.5+ inches thick overall, provide indented firm, but cushy support for baby's trunk while allowing baby's head to be elevated, all of which will allow mom to have both hands free while providing baby with the secure sense of being held during bathtime. This product does NONE of that.
