This gate met all my expectations; it's sturdy, weighty and well made. Very nice looking versus the wood/white plastic gate that I had been using. The gate door is so nice to have, rather than having to step over or take down a gate. It's also wide enough to walk through for most people (19"), you don't need to be bean-pole thin. Tension installation was easy enough in theory, only the little wrench tool they provided is tedious to use. I ended up using my own pliers and even then, the wheel stoppers only turned about 1/2" at a time, though that could be due to my non-mechanical dexterity. It's very secure to the doorway, which is 29" wide and so there was no need to use the two black metal extensions (as pictured online). Easily contains my 50+ dog. I wish this gate came in a very wide width; I'd buy it for my livingroom doorway.
This is the best gate ever! It is very attractive and functional. Received product in only 3 days. Read ALL instructions when installing, and you will love it too! When you receive the order you will notice on the box it say's it is 40.5" wide .The person in charge of entering the info onto the website entered it incorrectly, so measure measure measure
This gate is very sturdy and does its job very well. I have another one I've had for 4 years which was purchased used and it's still in great working order.

Good looking product. My dog has knocked it over a few times when excited, but she is very tall and strong. It does need to be really tight. Overall, I am happy with the gate. It's mainly to keep them from shedding in this rest of this house.
Great to use, easy, definitely would recommend this for children/pets...
Looks good and does the job! A bit disappointed in performance, for the gate doesn't lock into place on it's own. It could be my door frame isn't exactly perfect, for my house is older. I purchased this gate to keep my cats confined to one end of the house. Easy to install and seems to be made well.
THIS BAD RATE IS NOT TO THE DOOR MANUFACTURER -- IT GOES TO WALMART Walmart is advertising the door to •Pressure-mounted to fit openings 29.5" to 42" HOWEVER the box says it ONLY FITS 40 INCHES - WHICH IS TRUE very pretty door--- however it was very dissapointing to open the box and
This is a very nice gate,however the website says that it will fit up to 42" and it actually is just over 40" Will probably have to return it.
This gate does not fit 42 inches as it says in the description. In fact it fits only about 40 inches. Very dissapointed in the description. This was the 5th gate that we tried and didnt work. Will be returning pronto.
