Have only had these installed for about a month, so not able to rate long-term quality. But super pleased with what we have so far. Comes with everything you need to install, no plastic parts. Was originally looking for a darker metal finish lighting set, but couldn't pass up this price and thought I would spray paint them, but then we saw how this color kinda blends into the landscape in the day and keeps things from looking too 'busy'. I also love the light pattern that the glass globes produce at night...a welcome surprise that I never saw mentioned. For the price, I challenge anyone to find better quality and looks.
This is an excellent product- a great value for the money. I am always getting compliments on these lights. As others have said, the glass ( yes, real glass, not plastic ) shades create a really nice pattern on the ground when lit. These lights are well built, and easy to put together. I had a small issue with one of the parts and called customer service- they were very helpful and I received a replacement in a few days. I've attached a few photos to show how they look in my flower beds. I would highly recommend this product.
These are so much better than solar lights - very pretty. We've had lots of people ask where we got them. Highly recommended.
I absolutly love these lights. They are easy to put together and they put out good low lighting to see where you are walking. This is my second set of them. The first ones are still in place and have been for two years. They weather well. I have another area that I want to light. Would highly recommend.
This light set far exceeded my expectations. The price for the quality cannot be beat. The color is more of a brown tone than the green shown, but I think it is much prettier with the brown tones. The pattern of the light is fantastic. They only took a short time to install. I was nervous about ordering them, but I couldn't be happier.
These lights are very nice and, as other reviewers have stated, put off a very nice design on the ground. The installation was very easy - 2 hours max. I only have two problems to discuss: 1. One of the globes was broken when the set was unpacked. A quick call to Chandler remedied that as they have sent me a new one. 2. Since the lights are made of cheap pot metal, there is a potential for the stake and the post to not fit securely. This happened on two of my lights and renders the installation of those two less than secure. I called Chandler with hopes that they will send replacement parts.
I tried to give this product 5 stars in each catagory but the web site doesn't seem to allow me to click on the 5th star. I have been looking for a set of pathlights for over a year. When I saw these, I thought that the design was close enough to what I wanted. Based on the price, I didn't expect too much in quality. Boy was I wrong. They are all metal construction. The glass globes provide a starburst pattern that is very pleasant. I am more than happy with the purchase.
I bought 2 sets of these from Sams club about 1 1/2 years ago. they worked well for awhile, but after they have been in the ground you can't move them without breaking the plastic screws that attach them to the wire. I tried to go online to see if I could purchase parts. but no luck yet! No one sells the parts or bulbs for these. after a year or so the finish is getting dull, They were very nice looking when I first installed them but now I have 8 of 16 that do not work.
I have three of these sets. They are truly beautiful, but their manufacture does not suggest much longevity in use. In assembling the last set I bought, the post connector on one of the posts sheered off. On close inspection, it was apparent that the pot metal part was cracked in manufacture, as only 30% of the sheer showed bight metal (see picture). When I contacted the Chandler Customer Service, they told me they could not supply me with a replacement part, and that my only alternative was to buy a new set. Now that's not much of an alternative in my book! Based on this experience, I'd say buyer beware, or buy at your own risk!
I purchased these lights less than a year ago - they looked wonderful at first. Over the last couple of months as it rained the globes collected water that eventually caused the bulbs to bust. Today I decided to replace all the bulbs and came home tonight to NONE Of them working. I'm sure its something that can be fixed.. but for the amount of time I have had the lights I shouldn't have to repair them!!! It isn't worth the money to buy these when they are only useful for a couple of months. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
