Great, easy way to get your phone minutes/plan!

I love this way of purchasing my Net10 minutes.. It's cheaper, too (you save on taxes & fees). Emailed code was received within minutes to my gmail account. I will definitely go through Walmart when I'm due for another refill.

I now buy all our prepaid cell phone cards at Walmart.com. No cards to scratch . . . no receipts with pins to keep track off. The email delivery arrives almost instantly.

I've had net 10 for over 10 years now and to be able to order the card online is awesome. This feature is awesome if you order your net 10 card at least 3 days before your days expire. Saves time and gas. I love the fifty dollar card because of the unlimited talk and text; my net 10 phone picks up in zones when I'm traveling through areas that sprint or Verizon cant connect.

Good on iPhones. No good on Nokia

My Net10 data service worked well initially in Los Angeles. When I left Los Angeles and arrived at Phoenix, I could make calls but not surf the net on my unlocked Nokia N8. I needed to change the APN settings on my phone but I needed a PIN2 code from Net10 which they said they didn't have. I slipped the Net10 sim card into my unlocked iPhone 3GS. Using a wifi connection, I went to Net10 Wireless support page and got the page to give an APN setting. After that, I could get a data connection. I liked the fact that I had "unlimited" data connection. Well, sort of. You got to read Net10 T&C. There are some limitations mentioned there..

Since this product was delivered via e-mail, it should have taken no more than an hour for this purchase to ping the appropriate servers and send me the pins for each card. This, however, was not the case. It took 15 hours from order placement, to e-mail delivery! The cards cost the same as anywhere else you would buy them so there is limited advantages to any one particular retailer. The cards worked as expected once it was finally received. If you are in no rush, this is fine and effortless. If you are, however, on a schedule, get in the car and go get it, your sanity and inbox refresh button will thank you.

Most online deliveries take a few minutes, this one took 12 hours and we were in a rush. If I had known that I would've just taken the ten minutes to go buy a real card.

Unfortunately, Net10's 3G keeps dropping and rebooting only to drop again. I have a Nexus 4 and have searched the problem online. It does not seem to be a phone specific issue, rather, one that is encountered across tho board for a seemingly random group of people.

Just like StraightTalk

I was transferring over my Sprint phone to Net10 since I was tired of constantly roaming with Sprint. (I'm sure Sprint was to). I checked the net10 website to make sure my phone would work in areas where Sprint is roaming. I spent the $15 to get my phone ported over (plus the 1st month of $50 + the additional phone taxes) only to find out that the phone works ONLY on Sprint towers now. Even though the net10 website said my phone would work in those areas of Sprint roaming, IT DOES NOT! While I'm tempted to try and have net10 fix this I'm rather tired of calling customer service and I don't really want to loose my service until I have my phone number transferred over to another carrier. (I have read about others loosing their phone numbers.) From talking with a net10 representative the only way to fix this would be to buy a "net10" phone that uses Verizon towers. Keep in mind that the new phone would ONLY work on Verizon towers then. (Just like straighttalk, which I did not want for that reason) I also am finding it hard to spend another $100 for a phone which will do even less than my 3 year old smart phone. To get my phone ported over, I had to call the customer support no less than 4 times with the average phone call lasting around 30 minutes. I am very unsatisfied with this product and I plan to change over to one of the network carriers soon. The call and internet quality seems to be slightly less to. I'm not really sure how that is happening.
