Please read the other reviews, in order to get the 60 days, you must have bought the hotspot from walmart after 6/1/2012. I ordered the 35.00 card, my cc was immediately charged (pending). 42 hours later i received a telephone call (voice mail) from walmart asking for verification if I really ordered this card, I called back and left a voice mail and a case # as directed, telling them I did. Unsusre if they used the tel # that is connected to my account or if they asked for the # during the purchase. A few hours later I received an email saying to open this link and activate the card. The entire process took about 52 hours, from the initial purchase. I then went on my t-mobile online account (get one!) and converted the card number to a 35.00 credit. I then used the 35.00 credit to purchase a a 35.00 contract, and it did not go through. I waited about 10 minutes, tried again, it went through and clearly stated my time period would end 60 days from today. I checked the hotspot 10 minutes later and everything was up and running. Please note, my hotspot time expired about 2 months ago, but now all is ready to go, either the 3.5gb's or 60 days....
This card only works for device purchased from Walmart. The description clearly states that this will work with any T-Mobile internet device, but that is not the case. If the device was not purchased from Walmart you will only get the money you spent on the card, not the data for the extended period. Had I been told about this I would never have purchased the card, as the extended period of time was what drew me to it in the first place. You cannot use the funds to purchase a similar data pass, as the closest one is $30 for 2.5gb for 30 days. T-Mobile cannot even add the 3.5gb for 60 days to your account if you call them because only the card can do that. This is ridiculous, Walmart should warn people about this before they waste their money on a product that does not work and if you try to make it work you cannot return it. Would not recommend, extremely disappointed.
