I really like this, but itâs too small for a family of 6. It would be perfect for bigger families if they would double the size of it.
I loved my itouchless trash can so much that I have bough four as gifts. So fresh and clean looking in my kitchen. I've only used batteries and haven't changed them in two years. It's so easy to clear off dishes and never touch the trash. Love being able to have recycling bin right beside trash. It's so easy to use and keeps odors in the can. You never touch the lid. Clean and sanitary. I will continue to buy them for special gifts. Christmas, Housewarming etc.
The stainless steel look goes well with the kitchen's stainless steel appliances - sleek look. and the capacity per bucket was bigger than what i expected so am happy. though replacing the bags is a bit cumbersome. you need to get used to where to put your hand/garbage at so the sensor will sense it quickly - rather than moving your hand around. but you get used to it. but all in all, i enjoy throwing away my garbage now...
I have placed this well constructed trashcan in my kitchen. I love it. It has nice clean lines and looks great with my other appliances. It doesn't take up too much space. It is convenient to use and it has freed up space in my cabinetry that I had used for waste containers. The ""touchless"" use helps to keep it clean. I would have liked a ""recycle"" decal. I printed a copy and placed it on one of the compartments.
It met my expectations and more. Very beautitiful in any room. So easy to use & recycle. The only suggestion would be is to have labels for each opening.
I have had this for over two years. Still love it, still works great. I often get confused on how to get trash in other trash cans if I have to open them. :)
Hayneedle!!!! Is the BEST, The first itouchless I was shipped didn't work, the tops didn't opened all the way. I called the 'itouchless' company, they were of no help. I called Hayneedle, they took care of the problem ASAP! Shipped a new unit, got me a shipping label. Hayneedle, I gotta say YOU GUYS are the best!
Fedex dropped off the package before I arrived at home. When I did arrive home, and opened the package I found that the stainless steel encasing that surrounds the trash can had been dented. I rechecked the cardboard box and sure enough the outer package was breached. I was able to massage out the dents, and the product did work as specified. I'm just giving you guys a heads up. If the package is dented, do not accept ! Unless you want to lug the 25 lb object back to your local Walmart store. I'm guessing the delivery guys noticed the emblem " stainless steel " and it gave them warrant to abuse the heck out of the package thinking no damage can be done. The outer shell is more like aluminum...... The stainless steel shell is weak, and the product is shabby at best. It works, don't get me wrong but it doesn't look like 150 + bucks worth.
Ordered from another store even after reading so many reviews of it arriving dented. I tought a few dents are nothing and still ordered. To my surprise these are huge extremely noticable dents. The cover construction leaves the electronic components exposed and it is of cheap construction. Yes the size is perfect and the fact that there are two compartments, but it is really cheap construction to be selling for that price. Will not pay more than $50 for that piece of poor workmanship.
This is much too small. It needs to be 13 gallons on each side. It is horrible, but could be awesome!
