My wife and I use a Waterpik every day. This is the 4th or 5th one we have had and love the way they clean the teeth and mouth of particles that a normal tooth brushing would miss. We mix in a little mouth wash with the flossing water. We have found that constanly removing and changing the pik heads for individual use, caused them to break at the bend. We solved that problem by using a "golf pick" which very nicely removes the head at the joint of the handle. The pick stores nicely in the center two holes of the base.

Terrific waterpik

This is my second purchase of the same waterpik model. It's pretty compact but still give you enough water to do the job without refilling. I only use the flosser pik. I leave it connected to the brush all the time to prolong the life of the unit. Also, make sure to dump out any leftover water to avoid mold/and or calcium buildup. My 12-year old daughter and and 10-year old son use this model with ease. I checked the price for this waterpik at several online sites. Walmart has the best price. Best of all, shipping was free since I had the option of picking it up at a local Walmart.

Works Great So Far

Have had it for about 3 weeks and am very impressed how it really works well. I floss and brush twice a day and after each flossing and brushing I also use the Water Pik. It never fails to get more food from around my teeth and thus will hopefully save my teeth. I do have deep pockets and this does not come with the "Pik-Pocket " tip but rather it comes with 2 regular tips. I ordered 2 "Pik-Pocket" tips which cost $10 more. I use this tip once per day and the regular tip once per day. I use sea salt water in the tank. Hopefully, this will save my teeth and they will last me for my lifetime. I am currently 70. Will know better in about 6 months if there is pocket improvement or at least no worsening. If so it is the best investment you can make for your teeth.

Much better product than the cordless waterpik!

My first Waterpik was the rechargeable and that thing was a total waste of time, it only held enough water to do maybe 3 teeth before having to be refilled. Very inconvenient. I returned it and bought the Waterpik Classic. The Waterpik Classic holds exactly 4 1/2 cups of water, more than enough to do your teeth more then two times if needed, the water hose is about 35 inches long and the power cord is long enough to reach your counter top if your plug in is near the floor. The motor is loud so if you have someone sleeping in the other room just shut the door. I've read reviews where they said it vibrates to the point where it could fall from the counter, I don't see this happening. The different settings on it are nice. Power swich on the side is a bit awkward trying to shut off it off while you have the flosser in your mouth. Overall this is a great product.

I have a battery operated water flosser and I thought it worked well enough. But, I actually got it because my dentist said to get one and I didn't want to spend the money so I got the battery operated one for starters. I reviewed this Waterpik and found the best deal at Walmart. I ordered it and had it shipped to my store. When I picked it up and brought it home, I tried it right away because I was actually thinking I'd take it back....... WOW!!! what a difference!!! It works with so much more power and it is quicker as well. It is kinda loud, but it's for a very short period of time so you live with it. I would recommend this to others, because it really does work very well.

Was surprised how lightweight this one was compared to my other one which was the same style, but all white; the body containing the motor is way lighter than my old one. I have to be careful it is secure on my tiny sink and doesn't fall off due to its featherweight or that I don't inadvertently knock it off with my elbow since it has hardly any weight. Otherwise, it works great just like the other one did for over 10 years. (The other one still worked, but the hose sprung a leak) I use it every day.

I think the water pik will clean my teeth like it is supposed to, but at the moment it's a bit like being water-boarded. I am trying to coordinate the thing in my mouth, setting the right speed of water and turning it on when it blasts me with water, that goes up my nose, all over the bathroom and drenches what I'm wearing. I'm getting better at it so I can see me one day really appreciating the benefits.

I purchased this type of Waterpik on the advice of my hygienist. She said at least 5 settings was preferable. I wish I had'nt purchased this model. Its difficult to turn on and off and adjust the settings. I have trouble setting the tub in place. The cord from the stand to the pik is way too short. At one time I had the portable Waterpik (all one piece), even tho it only had 2 settings, I much prefer the portable version. I should add the new Waterpik I purchased cleans beautifully.

It has a large reservoir and a strong pump.

It has a larger reservoir than the waterpik it replaced which I like. It has a strong (and loud) pump and I found a low pressure setting adequate. It vibrates a lot while running. It works well and the price was the lowest I could find. I am satisfied with it and would recommend it but will mention the noise and vibration when I do.

I bought this unit to replace another unit that Waterpik sent me as a replacement for still another unit that failed in warranty. This one ran for two days and then quit. I'm finished with Waterpik as a company I would purchase anything from. On the plus side Walmart was very good at giving me a refund. I have no issues buying from them.
