We purchased these to have access to freshly ground salt and pepper-without the arthritic pain which results from twisting conventional grinders. We love the ease of use as well as the style, finish and built in light.
Love these salt and pepper grinders they have a light that illuminates your food when adding salt or pepper.
I bought this a few weeks ago and was so excited when it arrived and set up the pepper grinder and it worked great other than I find it hard to figure out how to set the different levels and when it came to the salt grinder the pieces of salt became stuck in the bottom and we couldn't get them out however which way we tried and it became clogged. Very disappointing for sure because I thought they were pretty cool looking but now I only have one working grinder.
It struggles to grind with the best batteries out there and it stops sometimes also i tried rechargeable batteries and it does not work with the product am not happy at all and yes it has an led light but the led light is dim and has the same color as a standard bulb I wouldn't buy this automatic salt and pepper grinder again
I bought this set to replace a set that I have had for years. They look nice but even after adjusting the grind size, it takes forever to get enough salt or pepper to come out. Would not buy again or recommend.
I bought this set specifically for hubby, who's arthritis makes it hard to use the manual type grinders. We put the whole pepper corns in one and it worked well - at first. But on subsequent tries the pepper would jam up the grinder and he'd have to turn it upside down and shake it and adjust the grinder, with each use. The second grinder didn't work right from the start ... the centre post didn't spin, so there was only a humming sound. Needless to say, I'm taking the set back to the store. For the price, I expected something that works.
Bought it three weeks ago, will be returned to the store. The peppercorns constantly jam the grinding mechanism. No problem with kosher salt or pink salt, but useless for peppercorns. BTW: I've tried it with three sets of fresh batteries. Most disappointing!
Too big. Had to finally use duck tape to keep it together. Only the pepper is working as long as I donot run our of duck tape. Cannot get the salt to work at all.
First they sent the wrong product then I had to reorder and when I finally got them ,one of the grinders didn't work period.returned and going to try somewhere else
The salt grinder only worked once. It was hard putting the batteries and salt in. I would not recommend these to anyone. I am bring them back to Sam's.
