We love our Advantium, we have 4 kids and making corn dogs, chicken nuggets, pizzas, popcorn. A lot quicker then using the oven.
This is my 3rd Advantium micro/ convention oven. I cannot say enough good things. First appliance to change out is a boring one style old fashion microwave. It pairs perfectly with theGE Profile 30 in convection oven. Which it is also my 3rd new install. Perfect combo for my family.
This is our third Advantium. This one is replacing our main kitchen oven after 14 years. Put one in the basement bar when building out. Great units.
Dear GE, I have had my ADvantium 240 oven for almost 2 years. I primarily use it as a microwave but have used the convection feature too. Today I made our Thanksgiving turkey breast in the Speed Cook mode. In 54 minutes I had the most moist ,flavorful well browned turkey that I think I have ever made. My large oven was available for all the other dishes the needed to be oven cooked. I do use the speed cook feature for my frozen cauliflower crust pizzas that are embellished with fresh veggies. the bottom of the pizza comes out with a nice crispy crust. An expensive microwave oven but the versatility works well as my second oven since I rarely need two large ones. Well done GE. I would recommend this oven to anyone planning a new kitchen! This along with my induction cooktop make for a great cooking experience.
While we just installed this, so far it makes great bananna bread and pizza. we have the 220v version it heats up faster than a conventional oven and bakes great in addition to being a great microwave without the heat from a regular oven, great option in the Arizona desert!
My second Advantium oven! Had the last one 21 years..this is bigger and has so many more features(wish it had fit in the space) looking forward to many more years!
This unit features a myriad at cooking choices for just about anything you throw in it. And it comes out fantastic. Looking forward to learning more about the programmed features for recipes.
This is my 2nd Advantium in almost 20 years. I purchased the new one as I replaced my convection wall oven. Both wall ovens compliment my GE Profile sid by side fridge and dishwasher.
Great microwave and it is awesome with the higher voltage. Only issue, I have owned for 4 years and the gear/sprocket that rotates the glass plate has broke twice. This will be my 3rd sprocket for this microwave. Very sad for the price I paid for this microwave/oven. Purchased when I built my new house.
I see burnout stains in the oven under the glass and rotational stand and stand was not rotating, as we were not aware of the product and were not able to understand why is not rotation, now we see burnout stains underneath when checked with neighbors we came to know something missing as its need to rotate.
