In this follow-up to "Fiarytopia", Elina (played by Barbie) travels to Mermaidia to save her friend Nalu, the mermaid Prince. Prince Nalu has been kidnapped in an attempt to learn the whereabouts of a special berry that will make Laverna the most powerful fairy in Fairytopia - even more powerful than the Enchantress! It's up to Elina to stop them, but she can't do it alone. She'll need the help of Nori, a headstrong mermaid who doesn't trust outsiders and wants nothing to do with Elina. Winning Nori over isn't easy, but Elina will have more challenges yet to come. Saving Nalu could require the greatest sacrifice of her life: her wings. Can she do it or will Fairytopia fall into the hands of Laverna forever. Trailers, Languages: English and Spanish. Fun Games: "Window On 'Mermaidia'"; "Deep Sea Discoveries"; "Bibble Silly Singing"; My Favorite Scenes.

My 4 year old loves all the Barbie movies. This one is about a Mermaid and now she has a love for mermaids. Great movies for your little princess
Beautiful graphics. My granddaughter loves this dvd and she is only 2 1/2 years old. The characters are very sweet and the storyline is easy to follow for all ages. A must have for all little girls.
DVD purchased for my 3 grandaughters, Kaylee, Natalie and Stephanie, ages 3 & 4. They all love watching the DVD, and it is a really colorful, exciitng story. It keeps their attention and their interest.
This is the sequel to Barbie's Fairytopia and stars Elena again. There is also a third installment called "Fairytopia: The Magic of the Rainbow." We have all three of the movies and my daughter loves them. Good family values demonstrating the triumph of good over evil and the virtues of friendship, loyalty, teamwork, etc.
We've had this movie for 2 weeks and my daughter has watched it at least 25 times. She LOVES this movie!
Got this movie for a 7 year old girl. Barbie's not the most advertised market so she hadnt heard of it really but still she loves the movie, and its great for days when you're stuck inside and/or in bed. I didnt mind watching it with her either, and found it charmingly funny
This movie is about as good as you are going to find in the Barbie collection. I should know, as we own every one of them. Mermaidia is set just after the story of Fairytopia. You do NOT need to see Fairytopia in order to follow Mermaidia though. The plot is engaging to our three year old and holds enough stimulation for parents to at least not fall asleep. The "bad guys" aren't to "bad" if any parent is concerned about frightening a small one.
I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. She has the other Barbie movies that are in this series. She watches this movie over and over. I would say this is a good purchase.
My daughter (5yr old) enjoyed it and watches it occasionally along with her three year old brother :)
My daughter loves the Fairytopia series and this was a fun installment in the series.
