My family has always had this product on hand for as long as i can remember and it always gives great sunburn relief. A bottle also lasts a long time depending on how many people are using it and how many times. I also put mine in the fridge before I use it, it makes it extra cold which at first is always a shock but it feels so much better and seems to relieve discomfort better in my opinion. I recently used this product after a weekend camping trip to the beach with no sunscreen use and my sunburn started looking better almost instantly and I started peeling before the week was up which in my opinion seemed very fast.
This is one of the greatest aloe products out there. It contains tea tree oil as well as lidocaine for pain management. Someone in store management decided this was a great sun burn relief, so you can only find it in local stores near the beaches. But, it helps with a multitude of skin abrasions and cuts as well. My only complaint is it is very hard to find. So, I'm glad I could get it online for a REASONABLE price and avoided added shipping costs by requesting to pick it up in local store.
Ocean Potion Burn Relief Ice Gel is a Great Product at another Great Price. This aloe vera gel does what it says.... Relieves itching, burning and dulls pain to make injured skin more comfortable. Nice fragrance too! Ocean Potion is not sticky and does not dry out your skin. It coats the injured areas with almost instant relief and the pain relief lasts for a couple of hours. I love it!
What I mainly buy it for is for chigger bites. I am a chigger magnet and could find nothing that would relieve the awful itching that lasts for a couple of weeks. I found this and when I use it the bites only last a couple of days and not such an intense itching. It is a miracle! So glad to find this. I no longer have to hibernate in my house all summer.
Extremely popular in my Dermatology practice, the immediate cooling and rapid pain relief rarely is accompanied by the initial stinging found when using other lidocaine-containing gels.
I had a really bad sunburn a couple of days old when a friend recommended ICE to me. He gave me a partial bottle to try. It stopped the pain and healed in no time!! I work in the food industry and keep it on hand for burns from steam or the grill. It has amazed my coworkers with how if it gets applied immediately, the burn is almost nonexistent. I keep it on hand at home and in my camp trailer. I have never seen a burn product like it!!
I definitely would recommend Ice to anyone. Especially anyone that has children. My son gets burnt easily, he will go into the hall closet and grab the Ice and ask me to put it on him. My self and my husband also use Ice. I just recently purchased 3 bottles so I had back up when needed.
Was told by a friend in the nursing profession that this is an excellent product for minor burns.
This is the best product I have purchased for sunburn. It cools, relieves pain, and heals amazingly.
Not exactly what I ordered, but very close. The bottle I have from a past purchase has the same UPC as this item, but the ingredients aren't exactly the same. Verbiage on the labels have differences, as well.
