Decently built for the price and weight, light weight (total weigh not much more heavier than the stick type vaccum cleaners, yet you only need to hold the hose to clean), with plenty of power, with disposable bag (preferred over bagless, costs couple bucks per bag but less dusty and messy work while emptying), with auto retractable power cord, with all essential attachments, with 3 layers of filters, with Walmart unbeatable low price: $127 paid and fast free delivery within a week .... Wish there is a cap to cover the hole on the canister to keep dust from leaking out when vacuum cleaner is not used and hose is detached from canister.
I find the size is easy for vacuuming and dusting. I can hold the vacuum in one hand when extending the hose overhead when dusting the ceiling, walls, drapes, or anywhere high. Does not have a beater brush, but suction is pretty good for most vacuuming tasks. I had a Kenmore canister that lasted over 30 years. Don't really expect anything nowadays to last anywhere near that long, plus I had to do many repairs to the Kenmore to keep using it. Eventually parts were no longer available, so I got this one, and have been happy with it for over 2 years.
Ive only used this vacuum once since I received it but it works great on laminate and time flooring. The suction is amazing and the brush level that can be used is so helpful along with all the attachments is wonderful as well. This canister vacuum is well worth its price.
It works really well! I replaced a GE Canister, 2 motor vacuum that was just worn out. The Atrix has more suction, and the suction can be adjusted just as the motor speed can also be adjusted. I am happy with this purchase.
Have had this vacuum one week and I am so surprised at the great value of this machine. It has very good suction and the power can be raised up or down. It has a long electrical chord with automatic recoil. I use it on wood floors, tile and a shag area rug as well as throw rugs. I only buy canisters because of the ease of use. But this is no toy; it has real power and parts are substantial. I have a pomeranian that sheds like there is no tomorrow. I call them tumble weave...it gets all those suckers. It's also good at sucking up stink bugs! Walmart delivered the machine in a day or two. Don't hesitate to buy it.
So far, very happy. One disappointment was to see a "Made in China" sticker on the chassis. Atrix website leads you to believe it is US made.
I'm very happy. The vacuum came to me early. I love the red color. I used it quickly and it pulls the dust a lot. I recommend it 100%.
VERY POWERFUL VACUMN FOR THE PRICE.
the design is beautiful, not so light, the negative point is the part of the carpet, it does not slide, you have to push hard, and it becomes very tiring.
This vac is designed very well with nice features. Variable speed motor, retracting cord, hepa filter, telescoping tube. All this is surprising at the low price. However, the one I got produces a strong unpleasant plastic odor when running, so I will return it.
