It is really great for computers, but NOT for printers. Even says so in the instructions. Has PLENTY of power for blowing or sucking the dust/dirt out.
Lots of accessories for detailed cleaning, powerful blower and vacuum
We purchased this because our office is in the process of digitizing our records. We are scanning files and storing them on our server. We have somewhere in the neighborhood of 750,000 and 950,000 individual pieces (reg. paper and business card type documents) to scan so we needed a way to clean the scanner at the end of the day. Its been 3 weeks and So far it has worked great. There are so many attachments available that I'm sure we will use it in other area of the office. Oh, we use it to vaccum AND blow the small / micro pieces of paper and dust-like particles, much better than canned air. Will update

Small, light weight and very powerful! Perfect tool for field service work
The MetroVac seems to be as strong as my similar Oreck model. This size is much better and has just as much sucking and blowing power. It felt good cleaning my computer keys and the area in the back that collected dust for months. Also, the difference is you can attach hose to the back and use it to blow away dust. I received a small long strap, but there is NO place to attach it! In the future, I will stick with this brand of vacuum. There are many directions, etc. that came with it including warnings.
I was actually looking for a car vacuum and walmart did not specify this is a computer/hardware vaccum. I kept it because it is pretty powerful and because I can buy the car cleaning accesories optionaly.
It gets hot in 4 minutes. It starts from one end and you can feel it go to the other end. This is the main criticism. You need to run it about 4 minutes. Turn it off, then restart and when hot, turn it off again. \nYou need to think out specifically which area you intend to vacuum before starting this device. Powerful yes, but design did not solve over-heating.
