This product is very compact and it does the job. I needed a dehumidifier because I live in a basement apartment and I am very happy with the results.

I've only had this product one week, but it seems great so far. It's collecting more moisture than I thought it would. Can't really tell how quiet it is because it's in a room with a large laser printer which is on all the time and makes quite a constant noise in itself. I was advised to get a dehumidifier because of all the paper (particularly glossy, but all paper) that I store in my office. I really l like the compact size of the unit . . . and the low price! 1/3 the cost of the smallest of the larger dehumidifiers. I'll need to review it again after a month or so.

It is a good product as long as it lasts. This is the second one we have bought. The first one quit working a couple of months after we bought it. Not sure what the problem was, but this one is working, have had it a month and a half. It is a quiet little unit. It works good otherwise and can sit it out of the way.

Helped out a lot

I moved into a house that was quite musty and this product helped. Especially in the back bathroom. I placed the dehumidifier in there and it has helped dry out the place quite nicely. It's small enough to go almost unnoticed and quite enough not to bother people sleeping in that area. Also VERY user friendly.

I bought the WindChaser Compact Dehumidifier to combat the high humidity in Georgia that I'm experiencing while temporarily living in a travel trailer. As most folks know, airconditioners are pretty effective dehumidifiers. With thin walls and less than optimum insulation, my travel trailer seemed to need an extra little boost to rid the air of excess moisture. There were times that I would have the trailer down to 72 degrees, and the humidity would still be unbearable. After using my WindChaser Compact Dehumidifier just for one night, I immediately noticed a difference. I woke up and the temperature in my trailer was 77 degress, but I wasn't clammy. I didn't feel sticky. I felt normal, and it was wonderful. This is a very low impact device and isn't really suited for large areas - probably best to be kept in an area under 250 sq ft. It's relatively quiet, the only sound being a slight whirr common to a very small fan. It is designed to extract 1 liter per 24 hours - about 2 pints. I've noticed a little less than 8 oz in a 12 hour period, but I AM running my AC concurrently. I hope to be able to keep my AC up to around 76 degrees and remain comfortable. So far, that seems doable.

Great for small areas

We had mildew problems in our bedroom closets for years, and we never could find a small (and quiet) dehumidifier to suit our needs. We tried the static products (i.e. moisture control pelets, etc...), but with very little success. The WindChaser is small, quiet and very efficient. It removes about a quart of water every week from our closets during the most humid periods and less during dryer periods. My only complaint is a life span of this product of 2 or 3 years. The power pack or the bearings will eventually give out since it runs 24/7, but for the money and efficiency, it is still a great product.

It is smaller then I expected but did the job that I need it to do. Plus I like the size it doesn't take that much room up. For the price its a great item.

Good for small spaces

The dehumidifer seems to work well, but it really is designed for a very small space. I have it in a one bedroom unit and need to empty it once a week.

A Waste of Time and Money

This product is horrible. I live in a 250sf studio apartment. And, it did not work. It barely pulled humidity from the room. It is such a small dehumidifier, it is a joke. I promptly returned it to the store. Please, do not waste your time!!
