I highly recommend using a WaterPik. A friend of mine loved her's and recommended it to me. Her cousin is a dentist and says her teeth are great because she uses one. Also, for many years my dentist's have recommended them. This one is a great choice!
The waterpik and the oscillating toothbrush is truly a blessing and I'm so glad I decided to try it out. I went my whole 36 years of life never going to a dentist and I was very lucky to never have issues until just the past year. On my first ever dentist visit they found ZERO cavities, but they did find I had periodontal disease. I've received several cleanings for that and I'm doing very well, and a lot of that is thanks to the Waterpik. Meanwhile my wisdom teeth are all still in there and one decided to start trying to emerge and there is NO room for them, so while I wait for my upcoming removal surgery I had a pocket of pericoronitis form around one of them. This is where the waterpik truly shines! Using the pik pocket tip I can flush the pocket out, and this helps TREMENDOUSLY in keeping infection at bay. The only annoyance I have is the rigidity of the cord connected to the Waterpik itself. It's a bit hard to work with at times.
What a nice ALL IN ONE piece of hygiene technology. The toothbrush even has several settings with one a gum massager and low and high speed. Recharges quickly. I use it everyday and so named it Julius! I've never named a toothbrush before.. *rme*
I am so happy with this purchase. Saves a lot of counter space. I wear Invisalign braces and this is the only brand of brush I would buy. The water reservoir is just the right size and the adjustable water pressure is perfect for cleaning around braces. Highly recommend this item.
I went to the dentist with excruciating pain even tho I was brushing didn't have the full understanding of the importance of flossing. I tried flossing the old fashioned way my hands to big can't reach so I got the waterpik. This is a great investment. It's noisy but worth it. This reversed all the damage that my mouth was suffering
I bought this product about three weeks ago and my gums and teeth have never looked this good. I’m suppose to get gum surgery on 9/20 and now I don’t need it. This machine does make a difference in your oral hygiene. Pick one up and I’ll bet you wish you bought one awhile ago.
After having a bridge for the first time, keeping it clean was going to be chore with the threading of the little plastic needle with dental floss. When my Orthodontist suggest the Waterpik I immediatedly purchased it. I really enjoy using this pik because it cleans great at the gum line and those hard to get spaces. I had to get use to using it and the water spills it makes. Overall I am pleased.
Product functions well, looks ok Instructions are difficult to understand, long Very confusing whether or not to leave unit plugged in, and if ok to store toothbrush in charger base.
Toothbrush stopped working after about 6 months of usage... I would love to get contacted by walmart or manufacturer. I have my old braun brush and waterpick over 10 years still working. Don't waste money get braun!!!
The only one thing I like about this waterpik is the The combination of toothbrush and a WaterPik but it has a really short life after three months i bought this item The WaterPik stopped working and a month later the toothbrush stopped working now I have to go again and either exchange it or get my money back because this was the second time Because I thought that would be OK but probably was damaged and I bought it again otherwise I would only give this waterpik one star
